Needs tutorial or some clue what the keys are and how to go about things.
UI too small & hard to read, not able to change size.
Within 5 minutes of landing, hit by storm and attacked by boar until dead.
Don't understand what the story or motivation is? Why am I landing in a spacecraft, and have no tools? Am I supposed to go back to stone-age. Jarringly in-congruent.

Not really interested in trying again, given such a poor first experience.

For a new early access game it's a very promising start. Lots of things still missing, but it's a compelling and fun game so far.

Base builder, monster collection & some light automation, relaxing and fun. Real-time combat with your pal doing most of the damage (pick a selection of pals to take with you that have the best elements and abilities for the job). Session based multiplayer. Hope this keeps improving!

It's a bland game even on hard setting I don't hate it except that the pandering pulls me out of my immersion very often.

The gameplay is really good and fun. Really really good, I'm enjoying a lot.

But the save system is terrible. Each map takes a couple of hours to properly explore and stealth through, and you are not allowed to save at all until after the end of each map.

Combined with a crash, this was a really really bad experience for me.

If you're not being invaded, if you're single player, if you want to turn off your computer or do something else after playing for an hour, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAVE AND QUIT.

Edit: getting towards the end of the game now and enjoying it enough to change this to a recommend. Later on the levels are a lot faster and you can focus on your objective instead of learning the whole level or gathering gear and power ups. However, be warned as above, you can't always quit without losing your progress, and sometimes you will lose a lot of progress by quitting especially in the first half of the game.

Enjoying this game a lot.

It's a platform beat 'em up with bosses and roguelite progression.
Unlike Dead Cells it's fun and full of character, and the movement feels fluid. Characters are boisterous and the game encourages you to keep trying in many good-natured ways.

The best things about the game are the graphics and the characters you come across.

Playing with controller very much recommended.

The last 1% of every map is a nightmare.
There is no way to find one of 21 tiny white pieces of wood when they are flashing between the colour white and the colour... white (!)
Or when the dirt highlight function makes the tiny and already hidden speck of dirt go from dirt coloured to yellow (!)
Great concept, would otherwise be a nice wind-down game, but this one issue ruins the whole experience on every level I've played.
For a better experience I recommend Hardspace Shipbreaker instead.

It's a good game, but it's too frustrating and the meta progress is too slow to compensate for that.

Very nice 2-d mashup of minecraft and rimworld.

Explore, gear progression, crafting, building, farming, villager recruitment, assign tasks & town management, defence, wiring & logic, boss fights.
Enjoying a lot with some friends, multiplayer is either session based or you can host a dedicated server.
