Great game! For less than £17 on launch day this is well worth a buy and you don't even have to enjoy LOTR to have fun in this game. It's a unique Valheim-esque experience and well polished.

Imagine buying Diablo 4 when this exists.

Forces screen blur when murdering ̶p̶o̶k̶e̶m̶o̶n̶ Pals, but calls them "Bast@rds" when they escape the ̶p̶o̶k̶e̶ Pal balls.

Having 2000+ hrs in CS1, I looked past the initial launch issues and left a positive review because CS2 was a fun game to learn and play. CS2 has a lot of potential in comparison to CS1, however the negatives just outweigh the positives by far with no indication that there will be positive change.

In CS2 when you do get to the stage of having a running city, you quickly realise that the "simulation" is fake. Traffic despawns, random industrial economies switch to +/- $2 million income without reason, setting negative taxes actually gives you a positive income sometimes, basic city policies which were a release feature in CS1 don't exist (DLC incoming), driveway parking is just cosmetic, elementary schools don't work.

As of the first major patch, performance is now worse and Mods break the in-game HUD making the game unplayable. The final nail in the coffin? The Beach DLC doesn't contain a beach (another base feature of CS1).

Great sim / management game, no bugs or crashes considering it's EA. Fun game!

£16 to then immediately be shown micro-transactions for everything. Refunded.

A good game release with endless content and no bugs in this age is a rarity. AoW4 feels like a great successor to the previous title and well worth the price.
