This was an amazing story full of intrigue and drama. And yes, those voices in your head do sound very familiar. That is Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin bringing the Batman: The Animated Series nostalgia. Is that Elijah Wood driving me insane? The cast is astounding. I am the Knight! I am BATMAN! If you like Batman, you'll love putting the loonies back in the bin with this game! I loved it so much that I actually completed the storyline. Ugh, so good. Get it. I need more in this series.

From Absolute Trash to Shiny Treasure. I've been playing for hours on end, leaving the game running as I am apt to do, and there have been no catastrophic crashes such as the one that spurned such a ragey first impression and subsequent review. There have been various updates which have improved textures, fixed bugs, and improved performance (for NVidia systems at least). I still think that the release was about a year too early, and I still would have changed the order in which I bought this vs another game's content. But adding the "Roadmap" for improvements to the base game HF2 has definitely helped to manage expectations. I don't know how to feel about the game being a work in progress at the time of purchase... Perhaps that is the cost of supporting smaller studios? They would have sold a better product if they waited until this year to release. But could a small studio run that long without producing something to sell? I don't know. What I do know is that I do love this game, and it's finally starting to feel like it is complete. We're still awaiting some features, but thankfully, the crashes are few and far between. And while I'd still prefer to have some local save files (I'm old), at least the few crashes that have happened since that most dreadful one did not again result in a complete loss of saves. House Flipper 2 is an improvement on House Flipper in look and feel, and I look forward to more improvements to HF2 that bring some of the missing elements from the original into this version. And my floors and windows don't seem so bare anymore! This is certainly the most improved game in my library this year, and I'm going to have to change my review from not recommended to recommended.

Original Review:

Absolute trash. I'm running a 4070ti, i7, 64GB of RAM and this game does nothing but crash all day every day. Obviously, the partnership with AMD has made the devs prioritize functionality of the game for AMD systems, to the detriment of NVidia players. I can run Cyberpunk with ray tracing yet this game crashes. No matter the graphics settings, crashes. Runs beautifully one moment then crashes. Still, I loved the content (even though there's no carpet or drapes), and carried through the crashes. I've been putting together beautiful builds, unlocking achievements. Then it just crashed in the middle of a save. Everything, GONE. Where's the file management interface in the game menu? I can't have multiple save files going for when corruptions happen? I can't name those save files to make duplicates? I cannot recover even a milestone? Back to start like it's 1984 8-bit cartridges? I WANTED to recommend. I wanted to PLAY this game. My advice as someone who should've gotten the Apartment Living on the Sims 4 instead of this trash as my Christmas present? Save your money and get House Flipper 1, it's janky and you've got no legs, but it's at least worth the money. I cried. My houses were so pretty and I wanted this to work so so bad. The crashes would honestly be fine to work through, but the lack of a file management system means that every crash risks loss of all progress. I'm so sad.

God I love Cloud of Daggers. This is a fantastic adaptation from the tabletop. Some things work quite differently, but others are spot on. Toggle between your cameras often, as you'll need to get a feel for the terrain or dungeon. Be careful when routing your figs, they get a bit spastic and may not move how you'd think, directly through the aoe on the ground. So, I've taken to moving them bit by bit when they don't path how I want them to path. For me, the evil-infused alignment of the characters is a fun challenge. I'm currently doing one playthrough as a murder hobo warlock with my friend who is doing the Dark Urge character, and another solo as your peace-loving barbarian who just happens to be very upset about all these baddies. I'm upset that there are no Aarakocra to make a Jarnathan! I'll have to find another way to escape the things I get into. Sad about the level cap :< Hopefully Baldur's Gate 4 goes crazy with the cheez wiz and gives us those sweet, sweet capstone abilities. Maybe they could eff around and Gestalt. This is pretty good, fairly dark, and incredibly funny story thus far. I'm only 69 hours in, lol. Addictive.

Virtual vice, a crazy storyline, online mayhem are all part of this epic game.
Don't forget to put your money in the bank while playing the online mode, or you'll drop it when you die, lol.

I love Skyrim, I fell in love with The Elder Scrolls with Oblivion. This iteration delivers. Can't wait for The Elder Scrolls VI. I was probably gifted this I don't know. My friend Tom is always buying me games. Nobody paid me to review anything, and I am offended. They should pay me.
