Good fun coop game, lots of progression and no predatory business model which is very refreshing

Very fun! Gives you that classic Black Ops Zombies experience with some added craziness!
It just needs some more time cooking to iron out some of the bugs and fix some balance issues but other than that it's great!

I really hope the dev team sticks with it and polishes it!

My wish list would be:
-Make it harder (you can just ran past zombies on hard without getting hit)
-Add voice and text chat and a penalty for leaving MP games
-Improve reviving (It's near impossible to revive people without using tokens)
-More guns with better textures (When I play even Bo1 I can't help but notice the guns look more HD)
-The first maps intro video could do with a re-do, or better in-engine intro's so people see their cosmetics
-Lucky improvements, needs some sound design to give better feedback when you press F, currently it's like you just spawning a gun in via console, feels a bit out of place and unrefined
-More customisation (Clothing, weapons skins?)

Nevertheless great game, the dev team has done well!

Early Access Review
WISHLIST:

*ADD THE EXPANSIONS!

*ADD THE CHALLENGE MODES TO LOBBY SO I CAN PLAY WITH FRIENDS!

*MORE TIMER OPTIONS (90 seconds isn't what every one wants, give them a slider)

*ANOTHER LEADER SELECTION MODE (Allow players to pick from the full roster)

*PUT THE GAME ON SALE! (It's pricey for just the base game, majority of the community exclusively play with the expansions, drop the price and people will buy)

REVIEW:

Overall I can highly recommend this games, it's a great adaptation of a equally great board game. I just hope it gets the continued updates and expansions. Once expansions are added this could easily be a 10/10 game!

The interface is great, they have managed to get everything you need onscreen without being too overwhelming which is a great achievement with a board game of this size. The sound design for the UI is also very satisfying and tactile. The animations are also sleek and nicely done, giving some flow to onscreen events,

The AI is really good, they keep you on your toes and play a good game. They occasionally make some interesting combat decisions but I only see this being improved over future updates.

The challenge system is a great idea. I just wish this was integrated into the online mode so I could do the challenges with friends instead of just bots.

In it's current state I'd give it a 7/10 as the odd bug is still being polished out and the missing expansions are hard to swallow given I am accustomed to playing them on tabletop!

Great game to play with a group of friends! Lots of worlds to explore all with very unique designs. The enemy design is also really good, lots of variety and the vast majority of the bosses are fair. Can highly recommend as a must play!

Only cons were the odd glitch:
-It not letting you through fog walls and needing you to re-trigger the animation.
-The DLC being less polished like falling through the map

6/10 - A short but sweet basic stealth game that has potential but leaves you feeling it's somewhat incomplete.

You can finish it in one sitting if you play through it on normal. Hard mode is rage fuel so I cannot recommend it. If looking to buy this pick it up while on sale as it's rather short experience.

Now the positives, the game shines in it's art style and soundscape it really is unique combined with the vague story leaves you wondering what the lore is. It encourages stealth which is good with the hard difficultly making it harder to lean on gun play as a crutch.

In terms of gameplay it's good but there's room for improvement:
-Cameras (Like the ones from bioshock but they suck) they are so easy to avoid making them pointless, they need a bigger circle to be a better hindrance.

-It lacks a way to distract enemies, an intractable environment would have been a great way to draw guards away so you can slip past or kill them but sadly this game lacks it. So combat turns into a slow repeat of crouching towards enemy, observe their patrol, sneak up behind them, kill them. It's a lot of waiting and brute forcing enemy pathing till you get a route that works which gets old after a couple levels.

-The surrender mechanic is useless, if another guard bumps into a pacified guard they re-activate removing any purpose for using this mechanic over just killing them. Now if there was a achievement for not killing anyone or some sort of bonus for completing a level while minimising kills now that could work.

-No collectables, I felt while playing it could have done with something to encourage exploration outside of ammo and the assassination targets. As the levels are nicely designed and would benefit from making it worth going out your way to look around.

-There's very little gameplay story telling, it feels like it's missing be it notes, guard dialog, anything to explain what's going on and why. At first I thought it could be a dark souls situation of being dropped into a world with a figure it out approach required but there's nothing to find to fill the gaps in this game which makes the experience a bit hollow.

All in all a fun tight package that I heavily critiqued above as I feel this has great potential if it was improved upon in the future which sadly I don't think will happen. Now in it's current state I still recommend it but I suggest getting it on discount so you don't feel disappointed.

Another great game in the series that builds on the mechanics of the first game while being a bit more adventurous with the level design and puzzles.

It departs from the previous game in regards to always having a weapon and instead just lets you pick up items that are needed for given stages of the game which is a welcome change as it certainly adds to the scare factor being defenceless and forces you to use the environment to kill enemies.

Overall a great sequel that improves the formula and scare factor, can recommend!

This game surprised me in a good way! It was a lot better than I expected it to be.

It's a great mixture of what i'd call half life 2 style world interaction, puzzles, atmosphere and lore. The puzzles are great and challenging which I think a lot of modern games with puzzles lack. People who complain about puzzle complexity simply need to try harder!

The story telling in this game is told over a series of notes you find as you play and leaves you intrigued throughout.

Overall a great game, bit overpriced given it's age but pick it up on sale and you will have a blast especially if you love survival horror!

Good game, much art. Advise playing in 1 or 2 sittings then use a guide to get the rest of the endings.

Good game to play with friends, has lots of content updates and events which keep it fresh. My dislike with the game is purely the fact that some skins are locked behind a pay wall.

A great game!

-Story was interesting and the characters you meet along the way are very unique
-Graphics are really good, a lot better than I expected going in
-Base building and crafting systems are a nice touch
-Weapon customisation
-Decisions matter!
-Multiple endings!
-HARDBASS

My only negatives I have for this game would be that I got a feeling it's the developers first fully fledged game as it's got some remaining 'jank' and missing polish that you see in other AAA games.

-The save system is a bit of a mess, could have done with a more traditional saving system
-Loading / saving text sometimes overlap
-Main menu load game prompts you about overwriting progress (Doesn't make sense for a main menu to state this)
-Main menu is a bit basic looking
-The odd animation felt a bit off
-Mid game was a bit of a lul in regards to story etc. was a bit of grind till the story picks back up again, so gets a bit 'samey'
-Inventory menu could have done with some more quality of life features

With that said it's an unfair comparison given it's an indie title and an indie title with a very large ambitious scope at that! I really enjoyed what there is and only list the negatives here as constructive feedback as honestly would love to see more from this developer :)
