Sat in my library for a good couple of years, decided to check it out after the trailer for Witcher 4 - spent the entire week on it. If you think that its another one of those overrated RPGs - please just give it a try. One of the best open worlds ever.

The father of pretty much any survival-horror FPS game is back.
Don't listen to any review that says "this game keeps crashing!" if you have a decent PC, everyone who says that is trying to run this game on Epic settings without realising that it requires the same specs as maxxed Cyberpunk. The game runs fine, and its definitely a S.T.A.L.K.E.R game.

Best DLC since Forsaken and it isn't even close.
Blows Witch Queen and whatnot out of the water, absolutely phenomenal ending to the series (at the very least for now) and the Darkness saga. Everything a man could wish for.

Wish I could still say it's good but no, no not really. When it came out people were talking about it winning game of the year over FF7 Rebirth, Shadow of the Erdtree, Blackmyth Wukong, the MGS & SH remakes, and honestly? Reasonably so, you could definitely see why.

But somehow the game that was originally praised for having an amazing, active developer team winded up being annihilated by the same developer team. For whatever reason they assumed that something that was not broken in the first place needed fixing - and it really didn't. The nerfs were, and still are, atrocious. Trying to make every single weapon equally viable, they decided to nerf everything useful into the ground instead of buffing the other horrible weapons, which resulted in essentially "no fun allowed simulator". This is a PvE game, not PvP.

Each patch there seems to be some sort of new game breaking bug, and I get that they work on it fast, but you'd imagine they'd learn after the first twenty times.

The game "progression" felt like a massive middle finger since the Automatons were defeated, then came back literally what, two days later? There is no ACTUAL reason to put in effort. Everything is pretty much pre-destined, so why promote it as if its not?

Basically, was a good game, got turned to mediocre at best. Still fun with friends I'm sure, but it gets boring really fast.

As a person who was not a fan of Yakuza 7, this is amazing. Makes Ichiban's character grow on you so hard. Peak through and through.

Great story, frustrating yet enjoyable gameplay, yeah. Totally worth it.
