I am not particularly sure how to describe this game since it has been a while since I've typed any honest review which didn't consist of like, one word. This is just not that type of game, but I feel like I should write on it.

To the Moon is, much like the description of the game says, a story about two doctors (very lovable doctors at that) traversing through a dying man's memories via a special machine. While this is the in-universe explanation as of how you do everything that you do, I think this game is way easier explained by thinking of it as some sort of time travel, mainly because it heavily relies on the Butterfly Effect. The smallest change your characters make will entirely affect the grand image.

At its core, To the Moon, and its sequels which I am admittedly yet to touch are walking simulators, so if you are here for fire gameplay then this is probably not for you - but then again if you are looking at 16bit indie games i don't believe you're looking for fire gameplay anyway. What To the Moon will provide to you though, is a bittersweet, incredible story in the quickest form there is, with the experience not taking any longer than four hours.

Overall, the Sigmund Corp series seem to have incredible pieces of music, top-notch story in each and every game, and two of the most lovable indie game characters out there. Very cool, would ride horses because my partner is stupid again.

It was good until it wasn't.

The campaign might be the best in all of destiny. Except its not there anymore because bungie removed it.

Due to the campaign now being removed what you're doing is basically buying yourself a weapon pack and a pretty garbage raid apparently, if that's what you want to spend your 20 bucks on then go ahead I guess.

Before this game I was a social man with a possibly bright future ahead of me. A loving family, groups of friends, proper education, actual joy in life. I've got to know half the world with people that I held dear to me throughout the years. Things that were merely dreams for other people were reality to me.

Not a lot of things have changed since then. But, I just got from a 4 times loss streak in Crucible Competitive. And, let me tell you, I would sacrifice all of those things just to get a slightly better placement.
I think if I was married for 4.5 years with a woman I love and she was the mother of my kids, I'd drag her AND the kids across two miles of fiberglass just to get ascendant III.
