A very cool take on FTL & Coop shooter
you run a spaceship with 4 roles (pilot engineer shooter and salvager) , the HUD is really well made with a DA that has a cool and slick design. Boss fights and every roles have quite a good in depth mechanics so not everybody will stay afk and bored.

Can be quite challenging but dont worry it is both enjoyable solo & multi , the devs are quite reactive for updates and fixing stuff

My downside would be sometimes when you get out to do objectives it can get tedious or confusing or feeling lost as where the box or lever can be at , but other than that its quite natural

Aside from the LGBT and obvious dark furry ERP underbelly , its a nice fishing game in those times

One of the best game, a good Devil May Cry-like with an awsome love and dedication , a killer made in studio soundtrack if you give the copyright free option a go , just .... my day is ruined

I want to make a good review on it but I am playing the game actually and having well too much fun with friends or alone while doing some builds experimentations or just going for some challenges the game offers, so please bear with me I will redo it later

Really its a great game that serves as a good entrance for the Granblue Universe (too much lore and stuff otherwise to explain but Fate episode are a good introduction) , a lot of very likeable characters , good mechanics , boss fights are varied and fun while testing you , a lot of investment from the devs (its their first game) and well ... frick its just a Diamond in the ocean of trash modern gaming is, thats all.

If you know monster hunter that game has a side like that , the real game starts after the story campaign (that is not canon to GF Lore but like a One Piece game you know its a silly story that serves as a skeleton to have the game and zones) , be prepared tho there is a bit of grind and "gacha"/ RNG for getting your "sigils", you will understand by playing its nothing too complicated, but nonetheless you just love to just EXPLODE a boss or group of mobs just to race for the S++ rank of the mission.

Bosses can slap you hard .... but well you can just THANOS SNAP them or stop their Rage phase when you learn how .... a lot to say I will come back to make it more clear but ... yeah if you want a game made by good willingful devs, a good story , like seeing big numbers and making skills builds that varies , if you want to discover one of the oldest gacha universe on the market (competitor of Fate-Stay) , give it a go really its as simple as that

PS: Devs , please give a raise to the guy who had the idea to make a "search by craft item" in the quest system that gives you all the quest where you can drop for sure the stuff you want , its a godsend and not even Monster Hunter has that (and it is a pain to switch from a compendium to reading quest to see if it is in for Monster hunter, but its not a pain in GF Relink thanks to that) really it should be a common feature. Will continue to support the game and hoping we may get a GF Relink 2 ? or I dont know what will come next if it is Granblue Related

Fun little doom-like wannabe
Nice sprites and respect of the universe

But horrendous game design , 2/3 of the weapons are bad , boss fights are not designed to be done in hard difficulty like here try to kill a boss in a small arena with infinite ads of all sort with 2 non-respawning health item , you will run in circle trying to grab the melta ammo and shave the boss bits by bits a lot of fun yaaay ....

Or no consistent way of healing yourself thus you will be put throught artificial situations running to get 2 h x10 if you didnt gobble it up before because one plasma guard just suicide shot at close range and so on

Another WH40K game that is bad because lack of design but can be fun when it wants it to be.

Buy it on sales and have a little fun with it while waiting for Space Marine II in september (if they dont postpone it or ♥♥♥♥ it somehow or cut down content like they did with the first one but I digress)

PS:Devs please go play the mod Brutal Doom for Doom original , and learn something when you want to do a "doom-like" but lack the brain to make it an enjoyable doom-like

UPDATE DECEMBER 2024:

They dropped the collab Killzone x Helldiver , so you have 5 days (fomo obligated) to grab for the price of 2 warbonds some cosmetics with new perks and guns
This is not going to age well , how many time will helldiver devs kick the bucket and just go against the community especially since they got the "best community something" award at the scam-games awards

Its a battle you will loose just like some of your moderators on the discord have jumpseats beneath them for obvious reasons (political beliefs mixed with profesional task, nepotism, favoritism and so on)

My opinion and update on the May update problem about PSN & Sony toward the game

UPDATE MAY 2024: Sony is pushing for a forced creation/linking of PSN account to the game , which is not required in any point to play the game on steam. This is a very stupid decision surely for enforcing Sony ban policy/censorship , if you "do silly gamer tchat things". Sony just did it recently with Stellar blade (censoring the game with a surprise day one patch and other stuff). Lets send a message that Sony is not the boss here, we the customers have the LAST WORD

-Update 2: We won Sony heard us , but other games may require PSN in the future like Ghost of tsushima soon so hoping this social movement will have an impact in the industry and serves as a building block for both game makers & publishers and customers

ArrowHead Studios as made cool games like Magicka (friendly fire your firends with spells) so I trust them to be mindful in the future and not friendly fire themselves again like the Sony-PSN incident

also the CM on the discord needs to be something else than redditors with power thirst syndrome/political agendas , neutrality is required when you represent a brand

An incredible game , good PvE action , starship trooper-esque humour always on point , gunplay is very satisfying , exploding your friends is very satisfying too .... what to ask for ? to see the future of the game and how the content like vehicules mechas or new factions will bring new toys inside this giant toy box of fun

Also surprising , a 2024 game that run smooth and is optimised surely Starfield could take notes from it.

Un jeu excellent en terme d histoire , d animations , de drama & humour.
Il nous fait découvrir le monde de la plongée ainsi que la beauté de l océan (et ses dangers) tout en reprenant des memes connus ou bien des références qui parleront à tous.

Je ne sais quoi dire d autres, une perle et j applaudis la simplicité mais l efficacité du jeu dans l océan de jeux AAA mal finis/codés. Ici tel chef Bancho, les devs ont pris le temps de faire tel des artisans ce qui devait être fait depuis le départ.

Ne vous spoilez rien , jouez y les yeux fermés c est comme avant , un jeu fun sans aucune restriction de devoir min-max/préparer une route/connaître la méta etc , juste du pur fun enfin un jeu qui est un "jeu".
