I make a point to never refund indie games, but the lack of controller support is disheartening. Would not have purchased if I knew. Otherwise a solid game.

EDIT: If this game loses the Sit Back and Relax Steam Award it will be a travesty.

If you're a fan of mid-2000s 2.5D Korean MMOs you might enjoy this. If you are a fan of any other kind of MMORPG/ARPG, you will probably not enjoy this.

It's a P2W gacha game with yugioh cards instead of sexy anime ladies. In that sense, I guess it's just like TCGs in real life. If you want to waste your time and money give it a shot. They give you about enough currency to start with to get a single good deck going.

Unfortunately, it is gacha based so you just have to roll with whatever set of cards you get. Between starter decks and purchasable decks, you will probably be able to throw together one of the three or so meta decks at least though. If you have a specific deck in mind however, play a different game. You'll drop 1000s of currency without finding the card packs for the set you want.

The worst part is the time limit. For whatever reason, you get a ridiculous amount of time per turn. Walk away from your computer to paint and enjoy the view out your window while your opponent spends 10 minutes link summoning over and over, come back, wipe out their 5+ monsters with a spell card, summon a Blue Eyes, attack them, go back to sipping coffee and painting as they do it all over again. It does not matter if you win, because no one really wins in that situation.

Early Access Review
I love this game! Unlike most unity early access it has actual fun game mechanics. Eat and Grow games are probably one of the simplest, but one of my favorite, type of games and this is a good example of that. Wasn't able to test multiplayer, but it's fun enough to be singleplayer honestly.

That said, if the developers actually intend on seeing this past early access there are a good number of improvements to be made:
-Baby's feet turn sideways when moving. It looks silly.
-Difficulty curve is weird. Early game is super hard, and end game is lacking. The killer vacuums make going into houses pointless. Evil kid enemies are a bit too persistent. Leafblowers and cars still knock you down as a 20 ton baby.
-Environment should be entirely destructible. A 20 ton baby rolling over trees and eating them should not be stopped by a small wooden fence. Factor weight/size into destructibility and make simply walking on objects break them at a certain size. This is sticks out as the most major feature to improve in my opinion.
-Why is there no cannibalism? Babies love to bite people
-Need unique endgame enemies(tank/helicopter/whatever), maybe less noticeable when doing multiplayer
-Map needs to be bigger(Coming Soon, according to in-game)
-Roombas don't do stairs

Bugs:
-Stuck on terrain multiple times due to nondestructibility
-Vomit randomly didn't work for second playthrough, which lead to:
-evil kid enemies kick you basically forever without vomit/level 2 roll, and eventually kick you into the inside of buildings and other terrain

Things done right:
+Completely accurate baby simulation
+Nailed the Eat and Grow mechanics, already a very fun prototype
+Simple and clever skills that are fun to use

A really enjoyable game in the spirit of classic Legend of Zelda games. Athough Zelda is the connection a lot of people make to this game, what really grabbed me is that it is basically Stardew Valley but with a focus on the dungeon instead of the farming. That was always my favorite part of Stardew and I wanted a game where that was the main focus. On that front, this game definitely delivers.

As others have mentioned, this game has its share of bugs. From a sales side, it would have made more sense to release this as an Early Access title, but regardless the team is responsive on the discussion board and is actively patching bugs. I have not personally experienced any game breaking bugs or crashes.

As for co-op whether local or online, I could not say because I have not played it. This is worth buying for the solo experience alone.

Holdfast is the successor to Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars. It is an amazing game, whether you are a solo player just looking to jump into a battle randomly or a hardcore team player who wants a very regimented battle.

Pros:
+First and Third person musket/cannon combat on land and at sea
+Realistic musket accuracy
+Sizeable player base, easy to hop onto a server any time of day and dive straight into 75vs75 person combat
+Spending 30 minutes playing instruments, being absolutely useless, and getting 1st place on leaderboard
+Voiced in-game battle cries/taunts in the language of each playable country
+High quality in-game voice chat
+Great roleplay potential

Cons:
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ realistic musket accuracy
-Because the game is most fun at max population, low pop servers never become high pop servers. If the high pop server for your region is full you're better off waiting for a spot to open up than trying to get another server going.
-People playing instruments for 30 minutes contributing nothing to their team
-High quality in-game voice chat -> zero moderation, incredible obscenity and racism, sometimes lightly/poorly disguised as "being in character" but usually just blatant racism
-Again lots of racism

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. It's Minecraft + Skyrim in the world of Conan. If you like deep storylines or plots, this isn't for you. If you like open world sandbox play with crafting, building, combat and an RPG like stat system with many hours worth of progression then this is for you. If you like running around in the nude feeling the wind on your donger, this is also for you.

A while ago I deleted my entire Skyrim file, save files and 100+ mods included, and decided to make a clean start. I'm already back up to 25 mods and 5 different characters who I have come up with unique backstories for. It's finals week. Send help.
