I really tried to like this game...

But there's no tutorial, and the game doesn't tell you how to play.
Google searching everything is super tedious, and makes me forget that I'm playing a game.

Amazing story, played in a unique way.
It's just... beautiful.

For an hour and a half, it feels like you're living another person's life. And what a bittersweet life that is.
I'm blown away by the sound design, the voices, the story.

And I find myself in a position where I'm more thankful for what I have.

This game is a masterpiece.

I spent 2000+ hours rushing Long Doors on Dust II with a shotgun.

This game gave me motion sickness and nausea, but for the first 20 minutes, this game was an amazingly fun and unique experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't get nauseous easily from FPS games.

This game is a gem. The progression system is designed stepwise so as to not lose you. Not to mention the addictive resource management of getting everything where it needs to be, and essentially doing a small climb of the tech tree with every game. Every planet you land on feels meaningful, because the resources you pull out advance your tech and make you better at pulling out more resources in the future. This is just an absolutely amazing game, and I can't believe it took me this long to discover it. I'm hooked.

Early Access Review
Very replayable game. Although it's all about dying and starting over again, the developer makes it fun with randomized item builds and a variety of characters to play as.

The biggest problem is that multiplayer is a lot more fun than singleplayer, which can get a bit lonely, but if the lobby host leaves then all players get disconnected. Because of this, what usually happens in a public lobby is that if the host dies early and quits, then the entire lobby suffers. This can feel especially bad if you have a genuinely good build going. Please fix this!

It's a good game, and I recommend it.

After playing for an hour, I'm hopelessly lost. There's no guidance mechanism that I can make out, and I can't even find my way out of the caves. Going back and forth through areas I've already been in trying to find the missing piece of the puzzle, and hitting dead ends at every corner is frustrating. Additionally, the combat at this point is extremely linear, a single type of attack, and 4 directions to do so. I'm told it gets better later on as the game progresses, but I can't even get there, I'm stuck.

I had very high hopes for this game, on the basis of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. However, for me at least, this game fell far from the mark. I requested a refund.

Fun game, but you need a really good computer in order to get good fps.

The mostly positive rating doesn't do this game justice.
If you enjoyed Chivalry Medieval Warfare, this game takes the same essence of medieval hack and slash melee, and distills it with greater combat mechanics and character customization.
This game is like the spiritual successor of Chivalry, without the ballerinas.
Sometimes it can be frustrating, because the learning curve is so big, but you can hone your skills in death match dueling servers.

If you don't know what Chivalry is, or haven't played a melee hack and slash before, I would still recommend this game, it's a whole lot of fun, and there aren't quite many like it!

I would recommend this game 10/10.
