You're Dave, and you're a Diver. Its fun being fat and fishing. Also attempting to run sushi back and forth while out of breath especially in Chapter 5.

9/10 Chill rating.

Pretty great game for it being free. Kinda repetitive once you play 15 hours but still fun.

Edit 2: 4/6/22: Fixed the FPS problem; had to do with XBox Gamebar recording in the background of games. Turned it off and now the game runs 98% fine.
Still pretty wild they have yet to add more weapons or gadgets/vehilcls/specialists into the game

Edit 1: 90 more hours have been played since Review 1.0 and I have some critical problems that have to be pointed out. After a patch in week 2 or 3, the game cannot run smoothly in full 2k resolution, nor can it run at 1080p. I have to set the resolution at 1600x900 in windowed mode in order to even run the game now. What'll happen is after a few seconds at the loading screen with the boats, it'll crash to 1 FPS unless I alt tab out, and back in then it'll run smoothly 60+fps for a few more second before crashing to 1 fps. If I have the game on windowed mode and it crashes to 1 fps, when I alt tab putting the game window in the background, it'll run smoothly til I pull it to the main active window then it crashes again. The most bizzare problem i've ever had gaming, couple of friends and I have deduced it probably is a problem with Windows 11.

~~First~~ Second and foremost: Yes I recommend this game but not at $60 currently. I received the game for free from a buddy of mine which might skew my opinion overall.

It needs work, polishing and fixes badly. This game does not feel like a complete Battlefield experience but it comes close

This review is not and probably never will be complete.

Pros :
64v64 is massively fun and i'm so glad its back.

Cons:
Unlocking system feels weird and i don't like it.

Maps are HUGE (a plus) but also super wide open and empty for the most part. Most huge buildings are indestructable which is a huge negative.

The soldiers (specalists) you play as feel bad and trying to be too much like Call of Duty but better with gadgets. Lemme just create my own soldier and customize it and then pick my "specialist" gadget. No need to shove named characters that have no personality or backstory into my game making the matches feel weird when I play a Boris and another Boris kills me like somekind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up time loop alternate reality clash. It makes me 110% lose the immersive-ness into the game. Bring back unnamed generic soldiers with a customizing features with unlockable items even.

Gun play is the worst ive seen in a Battlefield, only Shotgun and Marksman rifles feel like they aim true to sight, all others have the wildest spray

Early Access Review
It's exactly what you expect from a space shootin, music blasting, seizure inducing game of this type. Although its still in early access so not all the ship options are there just yet but its still a blast. Massive upgrade over the previous edition of the game due to the fact that the game will actively listen for music that you are playing on your PC and tune the game to that music. I use Spotify as my music player of choice and it accurately guesses the song/artist 99% of the time.

This game throws me back to Mirrors Edge when it comes to colors and setting the mood for the player. Not only does it do it visually but using audio cues as well with music and sounds.

One of the best soundtracks i've heard for a game in a long time.
