Don't buy it for a bit at least.
The game is in flux right now, they put out a pretty big update that didn't do a whole lot on the frontend but broke a ton on the backend. Let it settle.
They added 'crossplay', that's some prime grade BS. They put the game on unEpic (horrid company and horrid platform) and steam users can play with them now, allegedly.
This was at the cost of Linux support, entirely. No more linux matchmaking, or updates. At all. Ever again.
Broke mods (Vital to long time and high hour players)
Removed the Invite button and added a new Social Club (Part of the cross play stuff... But Social Club? Seriously? It wasn't cool when Rockstar did it, it's not cool now.)

TL;DR: Unless they pull out from the Epic deal, don't give them any more money. They're cash starved as it is and not buying the game or DLCs is the best way to send a message that this is NOT COOL.

I use it primarily to spam idle games and grind XP in fallout 4

works perfectly

Singleplayer: Very good, 10/10, 7/7, 43/43 etc (makes it totally worth the money)
Multiplayer: Fun, but the whole "forcing you to work with or around others" bit is kinda annoying. All the good ♥♥♥♥ costing more than the average family makes in a decade is kind of a pain in the ass too.

Much more fun than AdVenture Capitalist. The resources are much better, there's less to think about, the upgrades are easy, and most importantly, it's pretty damn fun.

Overall, I recommend this game. It's pretty fun. There's a lot that has changed over the years, much lost to time, and I don't play it much anymore. But I racked up over a thousand hours, and it was well worth it. Exceptionally moddable if you don't like something. You can also access all previous major builds.
