This game is great and the fact that its so casual and simple is a plus. Fun time challenging your friends and seeing how much damage you can cause or even just challenging random players to a game

This game is a masterclass in replicating old school platforming mechanics and giving them a modern edge.

All the abilities you get in this game have great synergy and can and will be tested through various points in the game rather frequently. Making mastery of the game all that more rewarding as you can do long movement chains which make navigating through this games world effortless and elegant.

The visuals deserve to be mentioned as well as this Sega Saturn aesthetic of this game is magnificent and an art style that should be more delved into as a whole in the games industry

This game is an intense arena extraction game that I enjoy coming back to every once in awhile to get the high of intense risk and reward that comes with its gameplay. I remember playing this game a year or two after it came out before bosses were even a thing and being real into it before I ended up dropping it for a few years. Its a real testament that five or six years later I still find the general gameplay loop relatively enjoyable to play

On that note Crytek is always trying to keep this game fresh and interesting, that being said ive never seen a game with so many support issues. This game is usually plagued with some kind of technical issues every update wether big or small. Theres also been issues with DLC purchases not unlocking what you pay for in the game so I would read reviews and update notes before purchasing any of the Steam shop DLC for this game

This game is a fun take on a deckbuilder and reminds me of all the flash games I use to play as a kid with simple concepts but great executions. The fact this was made as a school project and subsequently released for free is nothing short of amazing. Worth supporting this developer 100%

I only played MMBN6 back when I had a GBA and it was easily one of the best games I played on the console. To be able to experience the whole franchise in both of the volumes is a really nice luxury. These games have mostly stood the test of time and have no real issues that ive experienced. Could Capcom have updated some of the game mechanics and reworked the battles system a bit for this collection? Sure but having direct ports of all the games is still really nice

Really fun fps game with frequent updates and well rounded gameplay loop. Really cant go wrong here

The audio in this game as of 2/24/2024 is the absolute worst, why the devs thought hearing footsteps from several dozen feet away over the sound of gunshots right beside your ear is amazingly nearsighted and downright questionable, also the rate at which they update this game is amazingly slow now. They say its cause their working on major improvements but that still seems like a ridiculous excuse. Granted the devs did say they are doing betas now for updates instead of just pushing them through and gauging the response so theirs still hope, not to mention they did say the audio would be reworked as well. Heres hoping this game gets it right and has many many years ahead of it

This is easily the best combat in the Like A Dragon franchise yet. its so fluid and easy to grasp, my only problem with it was the amount of blocking enemies would do (mightve been cause i was playing on hard but still seemed excessive, almost gave me yakuza 3 ptsd)

The stories are interesting and varied and the side missions are as goofy as ever. Seeing Yagami and the gang take on more serious and constantly escalating situations is thrilling in a way the other yakuza games arent especially considering your playing on the side of the law and not against it.

Theres so much to do as well, the side missions in the school are plentiful to a point where its almost a problem (I spent a whole two to three hours doing nothing but side quest specifically at the school (that wasnt even ten percent of what the game offers regarding side missions) This brings up one of my major issues with the game in which a whole fighting style is locked behind a few hours worth of side missions which the side missions themselves arent available till you get a hour or two into the game. This means you have to wait after a hour or two to get to the side missions to even get to start to unlock all the combat this game has to offer. It seems rather unnecessary and could've just had the ability to go to the gym to learn these techniques available from the start instead of winding it so tightly around side missions which some players might not even bother with at all to begin with.

Other then that the character of Yagami himself is a good blend between Ichibans sheer optimism/positivity and Kiryus sterness and and bluntness, the side characters are also something truly great (Kaito in particular is a goofy but loyal partner and brings his own charm and flair while still standing on his own as a great character)

All in all this game is a solid 9/10 from what ive played

Very fluid gameplay with a nice aesthetic and soundtrack.
Going fast in this game is really rewarding and will keep you glued to your seat.
The quirky and sometimes cheesy dialogue is a nice cherry on top as well
