I'll start by saying I've played through the original Crash games over 100 times each. This series is what got me into video games when I was 3 years old. It's a hallmark of video game history and AAA studio, Naughty Dog's first game. I was pretty disappointed when I got the ps4 version of this remaster because it ran at 30fps and all the movement felt much less percise than the originals, It didn't feel the same.
Thankfully this PC port supports 60fps and controls almost just like the originals. The visuals are gorgeous and the music is as good as it gets when trying to replicate the original soundrack. If you never played the original crash games and you enjoy platformers, you absolutely must get this.

This game is a huge yikes.
The only thing good about it is the classic fluid combat that has been in the series. Even that is hindered by auto combos and "Hyper auto combos. I mean for a game that is simply lacking in every other aspect: graphics, story, customization,etc ; you would think they would think they would atleast keep the combat skill based, but unfortunatly that's not the case. Graphics wise the game looks like it was made in 2005, and I had to stop playing simply because the cringe level in the voice acting is at a 10. This game just feels lifeless and dead. You can see the half ass job that was done here. I would only pick if your a diehar fan of this specific series, even then I would say skip this one.

This is a weird one for me, do not expect a metal gear game. Expect a harsh and well developed survival game with metal gear V mechanics. 30 hours in the maps vary from the same 2 locations from V which I thought was lazy, but the whole "Dust" environment dramatically changes the way you explore the map. My best comparison is like going into the dead zone if you ever played The Division. The tower defense aspect is more minimal then I expected, but that's a good thing imo. To my surprise it seems the late game (after story completion) is very deep and I've only touched the surface of sub classes and new gear. This game is not perfect, it can be tideous, sometimes repetetive, and a bit uninspired.
However, I have to say this game is very solid for what it's trying to do. The crafting system is straight foward and provides great options for different playstyles. The fox engine keeps this game fast and fluid. Where you were in the tutorial compared to the final story mission feels like a huge achievement. So I guess if your not bias from the Kojima drama, look past the lame title, there is a good game here. This is coming from a huge Kojima and metal gear fan, just have the ability to form your own opinion and you may be happy you did.

Early access done right

Just finished. I enjoyed this one much more than the first. There are some poorly designed areas where you feel cheated for dying, but luckily it's only a few areas. For the most part this game brings so many original ideas to the horror genre in amazing execution for todays standards. The story lost me by the end, however it kept me emirssed right until the jaw dropping ending. If you are a fan of horror games, this is a must buy. It's not perfect, but it certaintly is a treasure for it's genre.

I'm not finished with the game. but I've just entered the 3rd section which I can guess will be the final part. Even though it's on sale right now I would buy this game for the full price with no question. This RPG is like nothing you have played before. It's a dark, yet hilariously written story with so much charm and attention to detail that I can't wait for anything this developer puts out in the future. To be honest I was just curious because of some of the reviews I read, but I thought it was just going to be a lazy side scroling game I'd try and stop within a couple hours. It seemed like my prediction was coming true for the first hour or two of the game, but man was I plesantly surprised to keep on playing.

I'll start with my only cons: It's short, it can be difficult to learn or play if you're not paying good attention, and the inventory system and lack of any kind of map can make you feel lost at times.

The Pros HIGHLY over shadow its cons: Dark gritty humor, incredible soundtrack, brilliant writing, deep emontial connections with child abuse, addiction, loss, and many topics I have not seen in video games to this date. If your a gamer like me, this really is a must play. You will make difficult decisions with outcomes you probably won't expect.

This is now one of my favorite RPG's I've played and that's saying something. Especially for being a 2D side scroller.
DO NOT give up because of the pace of the game until you get the bike! And by then you'll be hooked.

10/10. Just Brilliant, I need more!

Amazing game, but terribly optimized. I suggest buying this on either PS4 or Xbox if you have one. I didn't expect to be surprised with this, but I'm very dissapointed.

This game has a trident that lets you dancet, 10/10 would buy again.
