Aseprite is hands-down one of the best ways to dive into pixel art. As an indie dev, I needed a tool to create sprites and tilemaps for my game, and Aseprite was the perfect solution. The interface is super intuitive, even for a complete beginner like me. I was up and running in no time, and the built-in tutorials are a huge help.

What I love most is the onion skinning feature for animation - it makes bringing my characters to life a breeze! Plus, the tilemap editor is incredibly efficient for designing levels. Compared to other pixel art software I've tried, Aseprite just feels more polished and complete. And the fact that it's a one-time purchase is a huge bonus.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, and whether you're making games, GIFs, or emojis, I highly recommend giving Aseprite a try.

I don't get angry when I play games, like, in the slightest. But this game makes me want to punch my ♥♥♥ monitor. 9/10 ♥♥♥♥ makes no sense and im terrible

You'll see I have little time in this game so far, but, in this situation it reflects on the absolute enjoyment I am experiencing. What a breath of fresh air in the Warhammer catalog. The game is beautiful, explosive and vibrant - When not decapitating pox walkers you need to take a minute to enjoy your surroundings. The mechanics feel solidly built and for the most part the movement and camera feel well-implemented. Obviously everything seems relatively similar to Vermintide 2 and I'd say that is a good thing.

There is a ton of good which leaves Fatshark a lot to build on so we will have to see where things go - I have high hopes.

-------A Few Annoyances to Note Below-------

Spaces used in character name creation cause the game to throw a back end error and send you to the main menu. Forces you to create your character all over again.

Players can be downed in locations where other players cannot revive them - example: team was moving to next room, 3 of 4 teammates drop off ledge, 4th teammate pulled back by special enemy and was not revive-able.

Some of the most fun I've had within the RTS genre. The direct control function opens up a multitude of tactical possibilities and allows you to make some pretty creative strategic decisions. Find a friend if you want to struggle through the campaign together or suffer through the opening cut scenes on your own when you inevitably have to restart the mission.

It's a challenge but is a rewarding one

Most fun ive had in any BR title honestly. The combat is smooth, the verticality of the game is a fun factor. while there is definitely a meta and certain toons have a high pick-rate you never feel grossly overwhelmed by a character or group of characters alone. There is room for a lot of strategy.

Oh, and you don't need Origin.

So, I should really play again. I hear there is a ton of potential to have a good time and that people really do. I just couldn't make it through the tutorial.

Once you've got the mechanics and engineering figured out there is a ton of potential to have a good time. Getting there can be the tough part.

This legit pissed me off. If you want to play with your friends as a new player you're in for a headache. Don't enjoy not enjoying yourself figuring out the mumbo jumbo involved.
