Another game ruined by greedy business people.

The game itself is fine. When everything comes together it's an enjoyable experience, but it suffers heavily from various bugs, inconsistent or dated gameplay mechanics, and a general lack of care and polish that should be expected at this price-point. One bug that was particularly annoying caused aiming to randomly hitch mid-movement. This wasn't an FPS stutter or a mouse issue - the game itself refused to continue tracking my mouse movement for a brief moment.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is like an over-priced burger to me. Did I feel good eating it? Sure. Do I have regrets eating this burger? A few. Would I recommend buying it? Even though I got it at a 90% discount, probably not. Only buy on sale and keep your expectations low.

It's a fun and solid game. No crashes, stutters, or any issues - it just works.
Animal Well is a tad bit expensive and while I'm fine with paying full price, I'd recommend buying on sale if platformers aren't your main focus in gaming.

Helps me de-tilt from competitive video games.

In all seriousness though, it's a nice chill game and it's fun to stream to friends.
Easily recommended.

Although still in the early stages, Abiotic Factor looks very promising.

As of writing this, I've experienced very few bugs and only minor performance hiccups.
This game has a number of interesting concepts and designs that have been excellently done - I've omitted what they are, as they are spoilers to the story or overall progression.

It is exceptionally easy to get lost in the intricately detailed and labyrinthine underground research facility.
A lot of work and thoughtful ideation has come together to make the world of Abiotic Factor flourish; From the character design, set pieces, and down to the comically over-the-top science humour.

Although you can play singleplayer, I would highly recommend having at least one friend to play with.
My only real criticism is the server browser and the difficulty navigating it to connect with friends - though it appears it's being addressed.

If you're looking for an interesting co-op game, choose Abiotic Factor. I would happily buy this game at full price again.

Scorn is a great piece of art, but it isn't for everyone.

There are ever present motifs of death, decay, and suffering proliferated throughout all aspects of this game; It is unsettling, alien, and deeply disturbing - yet curiosity wishes for more.

Scorn for the most part is an exhibition of set pieces and concepts - if you enjoy walking through meticulously dressed levels and completing alien puzzles, then this game is probably for you.

If you're expecting an action shooter and have a short attention span or patience, then Scorn probably isn't going to tick all your boxes. There's a lot of things that aren't explained, lot's of backtracking, and potentially frustrating elements for most people.

Overall I would recommend Scorn solely on the basis of its art style - but understand what Scorn is before you buy it, and that will save you from both disappointment and wasting your money.

Update 2: The lightning in the bottle is escaping.
There are a litany of issues that still haven't been fixed for months and many more simply not acknowledged. The communication and actions of the developers do not match and have very few signs of that changing.
There is a distinct lack of direction and quality control with each update and patch, contrary to what is being communicated.

L-Divers.

The latest PSN scandal is just the straw that finally broke the camel's back.
This requirement has not been there since day one - it was added part-way through the pre-order phase in December, long after many bought the game. Additionally, up until today, Sony themselves stated that it was optional.

The game has suffered continual server and connection issues, numerous bugs and crashes, and worst of all, developers that have zero ability to interact with the community.

Above all else, it is never okay to harass developers. The Arrowhead Team needs to get their act together.
Releasing inflammatory statements against the community that has genuine concerns needs to be reigned in.
Releasing multiple contradictory statements without clarification also needs to be reigned in.

There is the potential for a redemption arc, but all the goodwill has been burned, and Arrowhead will need to do some serious introspection and hard work.

The lightning in the bottle is about to escape - it feels like BattleBit all over again.

BioShock Infinite is without a doubt a beautiful game.

However, you MUST download the 2K Launcher / Gamestore to play the game; yet no where on the Steam page does it say that. It is unnecessary bloat that no one asked for, let alone willingly uses. I cannot think of a single example whereby a secondary Launcher / Gamestore has brought any sort of benefit to the consumer - it has always been abysmal, e.g. Origin, Uplay, BattleNet, etc. 2K Launcher / Gamestore is the exact same.

For this alone, I recommend against buying this game.

An excellent free game and a potential spiritual successor to the Midnight Club series.
