However if you want to ask me permission to make a mod using stuff I made, as long as you know it's 100% my work (I usually try to credit everybody to avoid confusion but do ask on the comments if you're unsure, I do try to get around to them eventually) and credit me as appropriate, feel free to! Some of the coolest mods I've played were mods people made building on other people's work.
