Dying Light is truly an enigma.

There are so many large problems with the game that make it feel like progress completely halts. It's got a pretty questionable combat system, the main story is incredibly predictable, and it feels like a good portion of the game contains unfinished mechanics.

I freaking love it.

I've almost 100% the main game, and definitely plan to.

I don't know if it's the skill trees, constantly urging me to continue playing, for just one more level. Or the actually decent parkour mechanics, beckoning me to frolick atop the rooftops, for just 5 minutes more. Maybe I'm still searching for the questgiver that just slowly sunk into the floor, like it was quicksand.

I don't know what it is, but I love this game. I highly recommend giving it a shot, but perhaps walk in prepared for dissapointment.
