What's great about this game is the atmosphere and world building.

While it can feel monotonous with basic driving and walking gameplay, it's fascinating to me how I can interact with a seemingly normal food vendor I happen upon and my character goes into this whole conversation with the guy about what kind of cherries he puts on the pies he's selling.

She keeps trying to get him to tell her *exactly* where he gets his cherries and finally lets on they are artificial. He asks "have you ever even tasted real cherries?" to which your character replies "yes, back home (in the far away land of the Eastern Peninsula), they were my favorite." He promises they will taste just like the cherries she had back home but she ends up deciding not to try them and leaves the conversation. You could always go back to him and he will behave like a normal food vendor to buy from, but what's great about this is that:

(tldr)
many characters are uniquely voiced and have an interesting, world-building conversation with the protagonist. The dark rainy vibe is great too.

As with the previous titles in the Metro series, Metro Exodus continues to be one of the most immersive game experiences out there with gorgeous graphics and sound design.

The gameplay is fun if not slightly easier than Metro Last Light. The weapon customization is fun yet I'll still never forgive them for making the third weapon slot locked to stealth weapon crossbow/pneumatic weapons. (I get it though, it's how they chose to balance the weapons/ammo)

The more open world format is very fitting and works really well for the title.
I enjoyed the extra dlc missions and can see them doing more if they wanted to. I know Dmitry Glukhovsky, the author of the original Metro books and narrative collaborator with developer 4A Games, revealed on his Instagram account that he's "working on the story" for further entries in the series, so I do hope they make more great single player experiences like this one.

The story is great and I enjoy all the dialog with the characters. There was definitely much more attention paid to developing more of a rapport with the characters around you. You care about them more than in previous Metro games.

What a gorgeous simple little game. I didn't want it to end and for a while it didn't! There was still lots to do after completing the main task of making your way to the summit.

I really liked how the characters would change location and sometimes emotionally evolve over the course of your meetings with them. The humor in the writing is cute too. Very chill and relaxed vibe.

Never knew how much I would enjoy an art simulator. It's not like a digital art application--there is no "edit undo" and paint colors can mix together just as they would irl. How wet or dry the paint is has an impact too, all of which can be use to your advantage if you learn how.

Lots of fun and relaxing.

There are some really great animated wallpapers people have made, plus it's fun and easy to make your own!

You need to update your minimum system requirements to include SSD storage. I'm on HDD and it's been 45 minutes and it's still on the loading screen...

Everyone's going to blame my machine but I'd think a 2 TB 7200RPM HDD on an i7-6700K CPU should be okay.

I enjoy exploring the huge, beautiful map and trying out new weapons & weapon mods.

I was playing it one day and suddenly realized I've had so much more fun in this game than MGS V. I love the Metal Gear Solid series so I was surprised I felt this way but it's true.

Wildlands just feels cozy and is a nice, easy way to pass the time and feel like a badass soldier man.

Poorly optimized and lacks the soul, polish, and sense of humor of the previous titles.

Focus on making high quality IP with support for mods and quality DLC expansions instead of milking the cash cow and using Paid Mods microtransactions.

Your team is, or was at least, good at making great role-playing experiences, that's how we know and love Bethesda. We don't particularly play Bethesda games for a bug-free experience, gritty FPS experience or microtransactions.
