Early Access Review
I've been playing Valheim for the last month pretty religiously so this just feels like Valheim 1.5 to me.

It has the same rest and comfort systems. the same Biome progression: Meadows > Forest > Swamp/Shroud > Mountains > Plains/Desert.

It has the same parry and combat systems though the combat in this feels looser and a tad more janky.

It has a similar food and cooking system.

I'm only into the second Biome but this game does feel incredibly heavily inspired by Valheim, which is good. It's rough around some edges but polished in others. The traversal mechanics feel great once you unlock double jump and the glider and can scale mountains and exploring feels "mostly" rewarding.

There's a lot of verticality and emphasis on traps and movement puzzles in this that are a nice change from Valheim as well.

Animations could use changes and polishing and the combat could feel more solid and less spammable but overall its worth the money and feels good enough that the Valheim inspiration doesnt just feel like plagiarism, especially with the detail put into the building system, which is probably the most refined of any survival game.
