One of the better games I've played recently, except for the rainbow guy who kept getting a bit too close.

This is a good game. The source material is treated with a decent amount of respect, and if you like RoboCop there's no reason you won't like this.

The game is very much double-A, with some apostrophes in the wrong places and other minor grammatical errors, poor lip-syncing, reused areas as well as its fair share of bugs. I encountered one bug where I was locked in place after talking to an NPC which necessitated a quick load. This didn't recur when I did the quest a second time, so I might have just been unlucky. The graphics look good, with Unreal Engine 5 powering some nice looking environments and lighting effects.

The game on hard difficulty presented only a few moments of moderate challenge, which makes sense given the fact you're basically a superhero. You aren't in any danger for most of the game.

Unless you are an absolute fiend for RoboCop wait for a deal on this. This is a flashy, sub-20 hour, double-A experience at a triple-A price point. Buy it on special, play it, watch the cut scenes, do the side missions, have fun and get your money's worth. It's RoboCop.
