i'm afraid that human nature is such that some people are two-faced and incredibly narrow-minded!
That's the truth
there are still others so flawed that they think they are right others are wrong and haven't a clue how annoyingly ignorant they can be.
just let it go through one ear, out the other.
some people are impossibly rude critical and harsh to get along with as they haven't known love kindness or grace.
