First thoughts towards the Game were bad, after 9 hours... (yes, It's still early access)
However, it's turning out to be a rather Great, Well Rounded Game, despite still having some minor Bugs.

Females do play the game as well... as being able to Survive in the wild. Looking at you Devs

Hopefully in the long run they will have the Choice for a Female Player Character, this is said due to the fact that, the player is there to rescue One Man and Two Women, and yet there are no other employed Females on the entire island thus far.

Pros: Great Textures and atmosphere, not really what I would call Horror, yet...

Cons: Game still freezes up at times and still has minor Bugs, And no Choice for a Female Character... It's not as though there's a lot of Voice acting here.

Virginia can still be just as nice to a woman, as well as a guy without it crossing the line.

Great game - a bit buggy now and then.

Pros - Great graphics, story-line and visual effects

Cons - Periodic Stuttering, (even after, all the lowering of specs and graphics...)
Fallout 4 type Dialogue - Here is what I want to say - but let's drag it out (all choices of dialogue seem to have the same
outcome so just pick option A, because your saying yes to it anyways... you just come off whiny otherwise...)
Lack of inventory space - remember (Quest, fast travel to vendor - repeat...) Over and Over and Over... Never seems to get
old --- Am I Right???

Wait til it goes on sale... imho.
Have a quite a few mods which require After Dark, which I have, that will not unlock to use. It truly is a mixed bag, for instance the marina, the restaurant pier, oh and the jetski rental that looks like an abandoned building someone had not enough time to create. But it does bring out the night. There are a lot of mods thru Steam that you can subscribe to, but a bunch that won't unlock, for me due to After Dark, I guess bug.

Not saying it doesn't look great, but I would not recommend a Ubisoft shooter game to anyone due to several reasons.

1st - The Player Character is stuck to the surface of the game (Nav Mesh for short), which causes micro delays when trying to break one surface to fall to another surface. At least you have Climb which seems to only work a majority of the time. Nav Meshing - Stop using auto fill and use people who aren't Lazy.

2nd - AI can snipe enemies through multiple walls and a mountain side, but have issues locking onto a targets in plain sight. You surely have the capability to make enemies more effective - Predator.

3rd - If you think a .50 cal is too OP of a weapon, it's Because They Are IRL, but not in this game. You can shoot through two enemies (without a silencer) with your starting sniper rifle, but the .50 cal can't penetrate more than one standing a few feet apart. So much for penetration. If other Players think Guns are to OP tell them not to use them, but They Will Anyways. Twenty solid hits from a BFG-50A doesn't take down a Helo, but does not start dropping at 350 meters or just over 382 yards. And it darned sure won't drop 3 feet at 350 meters. Has any Employees at Ubisoft ever played even paintball before??? Much less ever shot a Real Gun??? I have a Very Hard Time Believing that. No, Seriously!

4th - Scopes, this is a practical joke Right? Nope the Highest zoom on any Scope seems to be an 8x, which is realistically more like a real 6x... Guess they didn't have those for Nerf guns, aye??

5th - Auto switching over the shoulder sights each time you bump into a wall, tree, rock, pallet, TV, table, desk or door is Incredibly Annoying... If I want to switch it from left to right, there is a button for that, but not jump.

6th - If you unlock multiple mines under skills, it only pertains to (Mine) not Prox. Mines? (Does this not say MINE ?)

7th - Called in Vehicle drop multiple times with no sign of any vehicles. And yes I bought them. You have to wait 14 Levels before a weapon to be Half A** useful with a silencer???????

8th - Enemies being able to shoot you thru large trees or Large Rocks is the Most Annoying, especially since they already have Heat Seeking Bullets. There are these things called Collision Cubes or Planes - Please, try using them. Nothing worse that being shot through a 1.5m thick tree.

9th - Just about any vehicle or armored enemy turns your silenced .50 cal into a useless BB gun.

Otherwise, it's a great Game. Good Luck.

p.s. Please Hire someone with a prior military background that has fired a firearm to give you a pointer here and there, besides just qualifying at bootcamp.

Brilliant Concept of a Game, Works on Older PC's. Do not play as Theresa in Woman's Lot DLC, if your a woman, it will make you Mad as Hell. Women were written as Extremely Weak fragile beings, unable to move bodies or unable to even wear simplest armors like boots, hose, shirts, doublets, gambesons, chainmail, pourpoints, jupons or waffenrocks or hoods. Breasts do not make us dumb and unable to wear anything, but dresses or cotes. Teresa was raised with 3 brothers - Well hell, why you didn't you just write her in as a bathhouse wench is beyond me. +3 Level with a bow, really? You could have at least let her use defense or a shield. Joan of Arch would have been extremely disappointed with you Warhorse. Not to mention invisible quest items making you have to download Mods. Don't get me started with sword swings that never make contact with the enemy, unless they are facing directly towards you. By the way, thanks for killing Tinker off and shoving Mutt down Henry's Throat. Please don't write Women into your game without consulting a woman first, not all women are so fragile that splitting a nail would cause us to lie down and cry.

** Buyers Be Warned **, DLC Reskins. Do NOT buy DLC content Unless you plan to play Online Only in Pve, Pvp or Singleplayer while connected to online servers. Otherwise the base game is great, still a bit buggy, But, Holding All of your DLC Content Hostage unless connected is Wrong on So Many Levels. Complete Edition - is Incomplete Edition due to missing two DLC's.

Pros: Love the graphics and most of the content base game. Really looks great.

Cons: 2014 stopped playing due to consistant crashes, (While grouping with other people). 2017 stopped playing due to consistant crashes, (While grouping with other people). Buy the game, plays fine until your first group crash, then the crashes come more frequent. So, play for 15 mins group crash, play for 10 mins group crash, play for 5 mins group crash, until you get to launch screen, crash, crash, crash... Re-downloaded the whole game several times. And still got crashes everytime I got into a group. Seems to be save game bug issues. Getting help is even a bigger issue. Not sure if this is anything like the TES V save info, but grouping seems to be a big issue on my end.

DLC content per Area - Awesome - However, unless you purchase it outright, you lose out. $15 a month / $180 a year to own a unlimited storage chest and limited access to areas is a joke. People paying by the month should have the biggest advantage, not the other way around. Buying a house is cool, until you find out there is a certain criteria you must meet before basically getting the keys.

Four Thumbs Up using Hands and Feet, Okay so big toes count in my world... What of it..? Fully recommend all DLC Content... No words to discribe the game over all. It's just that good... Better with mods...
