DEMOCRACY F**K YEA!

Im conflicted on this one, you see, i could care less about the mounts, the story is okish? i guess. the mace is nice, etc etc.

What i really dislike is the level cap increase, making those who don't own the DLC to be unable to keep up with those who do in terms of pvp.

Why did i bought the dlc? because im a sucker, and i can.

Ah if only we could get a game with as much realism, quality and features like this one but with 3rd or 1st person view, decent graphics and Mod support, one can dream right? right? well till that day comes, I'll enjoy this one.

Decent game, janky as a Bethesda game always is, I see the mod community doing its magic already, wonder what they will come up with.

Seems Larian will start to have the same reputation as CDPR before Cyberpunk, as a masterpiece maker.

So far the game is very fun, im surprised on the amount of freedom.

The standard should be raised in my opinion, as a dev myself, what larian has accomplished is by no means easy, actually is very ♥♥♥♥♥ hard, but with a passionate and skilled team, a helpful community, time and money, this is the result, and its as expected a masterpiece.

Well, at least this crap is free now, so do yourself a favor and "ARR!" the rest of the expansions, also if you want more fun google Wicked whims or go to loverslab to turn this game into the ultimate Pork Game.

I got to be honest, I only got this crap because many of the best modpacks now require it.

Alright, the game is good, thumbs up, but I got a few things that are a bit...

first, the voice acting when you change the pitch in the character creating is not really well done, it sounds weird.

Crossed wands have some glitches with the lil kid getting stuck, it fixes if you just teleport elsewhere and back but still annoying, plus you also can get stuck in the duel and have to reload.

rare random crashes.

some people are complaining about stutters but personally i have a rtx3060 and it runs quite smooth on ultra with Raytracing with a few other settings down to keep my PC from blowing up, I do notice some textures take a bit to load, but is as expected.

considering all the effort trans activist had done to boycott the game, there a bit too many 2dlgbtqdpe+etcetc elements in the game for my taste but I can overlook them.

I have to give it a positive review because of a few things. First for Context.

I have been following this game since the very beginning and I played since the closed Alpha, true I was in for the hardcore PVP, Survival drop all on death kind of experience, like DayZ but on MMO. Played that and enjoyed the heck of out it, specially the first Iterations of combat which where very souls like and very tactical. But the issue is that not many people are attracted to that, and if there's not many people, not really a point to make an MMO, so they changed many things, my only complaint was the change in combat but now I understand that a Souls-like combat would make for a very complicated MMO battles when many people are bunched up. Hence the changes, Is true that so far nobody has nailed it when it comes to realistic combat and MMOs, who knows maybe FROMSOFTWARE decides to make an MMO in the future... mhmmm I digress.

The game has been updated pretty consistently, it still has some bugs here and there but for the most part all gamebreaking bugs and exploits have been "dealt" with, who knows if some more will pop up, that's the thing with games that are constantly getting content.

Now the main story finally makes sense, and the voice acting is quite nice, I like the revamped quests to be honest.

Leveling is significantly easier, a bit too easy I think but oh well, people just want the endgame.
Endgame has expanded a lot thanks to BrimStones but I think It can certainly add more, but then again, the game is relatively new.

PVP is still toxic but the new design around it has lowered the toxicity a tad, Wars are still wars tho and people get really worked up for them.
Forts are seriously worth holding now.

Incursions have become more accessible which is very nice.

Crafting has gotten some love, I liked crafting since the early versions but now there's quite a lot of tools to help you level it up faster. We also got more gathering nodes for all resources, specially the motes ones are quite noticeable, and somehow I feel they respawn faster.

Everfall and Monarch Bluff has gotten some revamp, they really look nice now, hope they give some love to WW and BW.

Some nice UI improvement although I could still experience some UI glitches here and there.

Now what I really liked are the Fresh start Servers, they are quite nice if like me you stopped playing a long time ago due to stuff, is nice not having gangs of 10-20 gs 615 people on my a** trying to kill me

Edit:

Concurrent players are normally 10k daily, not many not less, i know AWS needs money to keep the game running, and I don't mind the DLC of the angry earth if it wasn't for a few things:

- No new territory but an edited one, that simply kind of sucks to be honest
- paywalled mounts, i never gave an F about mounts to be honest, i can teleport anywhere, but I can see its use on many areas.
- transmogrify mechanic is quite the slap in the face.

I believe that turning this game into seasonal events was a good idea from a monetizing aspect, but for them to make this dlc with these restrictions indicate that is not working as intended, it is turning New World into the other MMOs that we criticized for predatory tactics.

Hey im too poor to buy the DLCs, but is a decent game, plenty of war crimes to commit
