Game looks and feels extremely bland, got bored after a few short amount of time due to how nothing you do feels like it has a meaningful impact, and the way stuff is just randomly scattered on the floor just makes it feel cheap and offputting. Also should not be compared to Subnautica, except for general concept they dont feel the same at all except for the obvious design choices this game rips from subnautica.. TLDR: feels unfinished and bland, needs a lot of cleanup

Without a doubt the best story-based exploration game i have, and most likely ever will play.
Every single step of the way had me completely hooked just looking for more clues as to explain what the story is trying to tell you along the way.
If you like games with a heavy focus on exploration with a good story, this is without a doubt, a MUST play, and if you decide to pick this up,
PLAY. IT. BLIND!!!

heey thats sort of not bad

I feel the same way as alot of the other people that have reviewed this game as not recommended, the ending ruins the game for me. It was really interesting and captivating up until the end, where i feel as though i was let down, also, this should NOT be at the price it is at, it could be cut by 50% and still be a bit too high.
Buy it on a sale for like 5-7$.

Crappy level design and unfair combat makes this game incredibly inferior to the first dark souls, some areas are nothing but a spam of semi-difficult or above enemies which hit you faster than you can dodge and get a hit back in making it impossible to get through some areas without "cheesing" your way through them. Enemies have way too high "poise" (♥♥♥♥ mechanic by the way) and seemingly endless stamina. Some areas are incredibly poorly designed such as areas where you have to fight through about 20 enemies of mid to high tier difficulty to get to the next boss and once you do it after maybe dying a couple times you feel so satisfied, then you move into the boss area and get 2-hit because you arent certain of what the boss does exactly and then you have to clear ALL the 20 enemies AGAIN to fight the boss, and if you die again.. well, how about clearing it all once again? not to mention the fact that each time you die you lose 5-10% of your maximum health until you use an item which resets it. I had a GREAT deal of fun for the first two thirds of the game and then i just couldn't enjoy it anymore which is a huge shame because i LOVED the first game and i really really liked this one aswell up to this point... its a shame really.. stick to the other souls game
