If you want to survive in game for 40 hours and loose all progress to some stupid guy who guessed password from your server and bombarded all your progress to the ground, then this game is for you!

Totally not a minecraft

It was cool once time, but when dev added much of useless stuff, the point of a game was really uncertain and at the end there is no more updates, my friends stopped to play. Game probably is oficially dead...

Great unique universe with new interesting mechanics. At first I didn't understand the concept of a game and what to do, but given this game a chance and that actually worth it! I like the universe and a game now and want to participate in every part of it!

Well, I played a couple games like this before, where you can edit your own ship, because I like to create and want to be an artist later. I always wanted a good editor for ships. I was played Spore much time. Editor there is good, you can freely place and rotate many different parts. But, the game had also big limitations, bad camera, no gameplay-connected and wasn't been so easy for me, even when some features of it was great. I also played Space Engineers. Well, it much more bad than Avorion and the limitations there are huge. Even if Space Engineers is mostly a game about programming stuff, editing there is much more worse, than here. I also can compare this game to blender, even, if it's not even a game. Well, I can say that Avorion is easier than blender and served for me better as an imagination sandbox, where I can make stuff, that not only looking good, but also has some functional stuff.

So, what I can say - editor is awesome! I would personally also like, if there was a feature to rotate parts freely, like to place box diagonally to make stuff easier. I was sad when found that there is no turret base for some types of blocks.

Well, graphics are not so good, but I don't really care.

Gameplay - Uh, I don't really played much games with gameplay like this, but I liked it. I love that you can command your ships, and literally play as a commander of galactic army, when your progress enouth. I love the potential of building in this game. Don't really figure out the economy for now, quest sometimes can be boring.

Also, some people written in their reviews about grinding, so I wanted to say to them: There are a possibility TO MAKE AUTO MINERS!!! You just need to hire captian for 15k or so in your ship, exit it and then command him to mine in sector. THATS ALL! THERE IS NO GRINDING IN THIS GAME AT ALL! Its funny and creative!

Somewhat cool game. Ofcource its hard, but, many things are made correctly and you can design many stuff in it. Way better than games like this with blocks. Play it instead of minecraft because of ways of creativity with cars and ships. Will be cooler, if they add water.

Playing this game since I knew about it. To be honest, I am really tired of that sh*t XD But I can't stop playing because its amaizing space politics and management simulator for me. And I just don't know better. I love it. And all improvements it get. R+

One disadvantage - they shut down previous cool FTL system. Thats what I am dissapointed with.
