The game is essentially a digital book, you will always play the exact same character. Roleplay is impossible outside minute narrative choices that do not change progression of the story other than an ending you get. The 'gameplay' barely allows CS to be classified as a game- as there's none outside of reading and rolling dice which are not random but pre-programmed by the developers so you don't miss out on content thus there are no consequences for any wrong / bad choices. I'm not sure if it is even possible to loose a playthrough ( unless you actively try to do so on purpose ) as the game will jerk you away from any real failstates. Citizen Sleeper isn't an RPG ( or even a Telltale-esc game ) and the narrative is mediocre at best outside a small number of few well-written characters; this is a digital comic.

The visual upgrade actually makes the game look somehow worse than the original.
