They even have the VGA version of QFG 1
Look: the whole thing is worth it just to play the "hidden class" in QFG 4: Shadows of Darkness while John Rhys-Davies narrates the adventure. I don't think the charm of the game has aged, at all.

Me watching videos of Palworld: "Oh no, they've squeezed so many other games' slightly-altered assets into one package that I can't stand to look at it."
Me 9 hours into Palworld: "I CAN FLY NOW, WEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Should I start a second base? OH MY GOD IS THAT A SHINY?! Haha this Pokem*cough*Pal becomes a FLAMETHROWER?! Alright, I need to optimize my farm... KIDS! COME SEE THE GAME DADDY IS PLAYING!!!"

I'm gonna tell my kids this was Pokemon.

Not many games manage to capture the utter dread of a civilian surviving in a war-torn city (in fact I can't think of any others), and this one does it very well.
The game is set into two cycles wherein the player manages their "base", including the health, happiness and prosperity of it's survivors during the day, and at night they can send one of their survivors out to actively scavenge nearby localities for supplies.
Overall a fun game with a lot of replay value considering the wide assortment starting options and random generation nature of the environment.

While I definitely enjoyed the freedom of building around the submarine, I have to admit that the sea truck is pretty nice as well. It's MUCH smaller than the sub so it doesn't get stuck nearly as frequently, nor do I think it's as loud.
In some respects that makes this game slightly easier, but I've died a few times (mostly from negligence).
The scenery is once again beautiful with many unique areas to explore, the music is entrancing and the overall feel of the game is "Subnautica+".
I think anyone that enjoyed the first game will find plenty to embrace in this near-expansion.

Coming into the game in 2023, I've already had several hours of canonical fun and collected a couple of my favorite ships!
As a new player with no plans for long-term end-game (for now), I'm just enjoying content.
The game play is surprisingly varied, so I've found myself on my toes quite a bit.
Starting multiple playthroughs is very rewarding due to all the of the individual storylines for each race.
It's just good Star Trek fun!

It's the greatest RPG story ever told with an engrossing character roster, each with their own fleshed-out background, one of if not the best gaming sound-tracks, and materia being a fun introduction to the Final Fantasy turn-based game play.
FF7 set the standard for RPG's that still exists today in the form of cinematic story-telling, massive world-building, large-scale exploration and diversified options for style of game play with lots of side content to optionally enjoy to the player's benefit.
There are two downsides:
-the graphics are obviously 1997, but the pre-rendered backgrounds and unique sprite choices does give the game it's own enjoyable quality; just don't worry too much about the hands.
-the game has been argued as "too easy" and I would agree for anyone who goes in with a guide or on multiple play-throughs. The difficulty slider is greased towards easy-mode only because once you overcome the materia learning-curve it's possible to nigh-abuse them.... but I argue that the developers thought of that and that's why the game has two mega-bosses. Just don't cheat yourself on the new-player experience and this isn't a problem; you can easily sink over 100 hours into the game learning it's ins and outs.

I'm very biased, but I know for certain that this game is one of those once-in-a-generation experience that tells a story I think most players can immerse themselves in and enjoy. If it doesn't hold up for you: hey, that's why they made a new one! Cheers! :D

Still the best overall implementation of Fallout mechanics, even if the story is pretty... well.... it exists.
The textures are meh but it all works together to make some great landscapes.
DLC is mostly decent with Far Harbor being one of the best pieces of content in the Fallout universe.
The soundtrack is beyond perfection; I listen to it outside of the game.

Having grown up on the anime, I can attest that this is a faithful and excellent representation of that content delivered in a new and entertaining way.

This is what every survival builder wanted to be.
The atmosphere is AMAZING thanks to a wonderful soundtrack and unique graphics.
The general game play is FUN.
Building is straightforward and collection is intuitive.

-When building, items click together a bit like Fallout 4, with many of the same issues. It functions, though, and it feels good to do.
