Amazing fun once you have gotten over the learning curve. The learning curve can make it difficult for new players to join but it really isn't that bad and the process of learning is more fun than other curves such as R6: Siege.

By far one of the best single player shooter campaigns I've played recently and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great short single player experience. The 2 DLC packs really add to the story and challenge of each level even though the packs only include 4 levels each. Don't worry if you're not a fan of the series or haven't played a doom game before most of the backstory is explained in DLC pack 1
