Boltgun is absolutely amazing. I have just beaten it on Exterminatus difficulty (Boltgun's nightmare setting). The game bears some resemblance to Prodeus. Its gameplay mechanics are exceptional, to say the least. The moment you take control of the Space Marine, you feel an immense sense of power and purpose. The sound of each heavy step of your armor, the ability to land on enemies, splattering them into chunks and sludge, and the immediate desire to rid this world of heretics.

The Boltgun itself feels terrific and easily stands out as the most useful weapon among the eight available. While initially, many may perceive it as the sole reliable choice, as you discover more weapons, it becomes evident that each one has its own utility in specific circumstances.

The controls are tight and responsive, allowing for seamless combat encounters. The variety of weapons and secrets at your disposal keeps the gameplay consistently fresh and exciting throughout the entire game.

The art in Boltgun is captivating, showcasing an incredible attention to detail. Every sprite clearly exhibits its miniature origins. The environments are meticulously crafted, immersing you in a rich and atmospheric world. The dimly lit corridors, war-torn landscapes, and desolate chaos realms all contribute to the game's brooding atmosphere, constantly reminding you of the perilous battles that lie ahead.

I can't stress enough how much praise this game deserves. It's an experience you must play for yourself.

A game that is far too short even for a 20 dollar game. The difficulty at max is that of normal difficulty at best. It is not a game that I found in anyway challenging or rewarding.

I start the game and am presented with some very obnoxious characters, terrible dialogue, and bad voice acting. I continue thinking well its got mostly positive the game play must be fun. Well I was wrong. I refuse to play a game that forces me to do multiple steps just to reload. If this problem was fixed, I would give this game another chance. At this moment though reloading is to obnoxious to deal with. They need to have an option to turn it off.

Super fun game to play and kill time where the puzzles are challenging. The puzzles get progressively harder as you play at a near perfect pacing.
