This game is, quite frankly, a masterpiece of gameplay. Incredibly simple on paper, but when you shave off a bit of time, pull of a cool trick, it just feels so satisfying. Movement is extremely fun in this game and if it was even slightly worse it would be horrible because the game is built on it.

I think a lot of the reviews calling the story cringe and ♥♥♥♥ are exaggerating. It's not winning any awards for the plot or character writing, but as a writer I find the story and character work to be more than fine. Cringey at times, sure, but that is so obviously intentional. It's a visual novel style game when not in a level, and the main characters all seem to be both charming and deeply irritating, which I think is a fine line to walk and the devs have nailed it.

tl;dr - if you want a challenge that will push you to WANT to succeed, but don't want to bash your head into a wall with a game like dark souls or celeste, and are a fan of anime and the tropes therein, then neon white is probably the game for you!

this game consumed my life since purchase and i have known no peace since. i dream of new builds and gnarly action combat. were it not for ff7 rebirth this would be my game of the year even in early access. the fact that it wont officially release until presumably next year means it will almost certainly be my game of the year in 2025. the voice acting, the art, the music, the gameplay, all of it is rolled into a package that costs less than half a AAA game and you know the devs will support this game and add to it adn respond to feedback on it!

find it hilarious that the only people who hate the recent changes to fanservice and offensive content are people whose brains are so rotted by porn that they find the time to get angry over this. if you want a fun fighting game with a unique graphical style, ignore the review bombing and play this, its a good time

Please play this game. It is truly amazing, from the soundtrack to the backgrounds, to the characters and the atmosphere, this is a top tier game for a tiny price.

havent even completed it, but between the art, the music, the nice plot, and the amazing gameplay, if you're a fan of platformers and you havent got this then you're being dumb. also has a casual mode for people that want to play it but arent very good at games, allowing you to essentially beat the game with ease.

Yes. Beautiful grphics, excelllent gameplay. Excellent replay value, with a very refined skill system. 10 out of 10.

DotA 2 is one of the greatest games I've ever played in my life and is 100% free if you want it to be. Can't pay to win and relies on skill. Will keep you entertained for years. If you don't have this game, get your ♥♥♥♥ together.

Rather fun and as it's free/cheap, I'd highly recommend it.
