Fantastic co-op game with strong core gameplay mechanics. Utilises non-traditional co-op comms in an effective way to create additional challenge. This is not for everyone, but it doesn't have to be. Fans of tabletop and deck-based and/or resource games should definitely take a look. Gameplay will be improved with increased variability and updates in the future.

At the current price, I feel the game is well worth its value. An active developer gives this game great potential to be even better than it already is. Would recommend!

I cannot believe this is free. One hour in and I am blown away. Can't wait to explore more. It is extremely reminiscent of "old school" (term used loosely) top-down RPGs - except with all the modern quality of life updates and additions you'd hope for. The story (so far) is well-written and interesting, and I've found myself trying to exhaust the dialogue with almost everyone I meet. I haven't done that in quite some time with an RPG as it can quickly feel like tedium. Not here!

Please allow some way for people to support you as a developer, and the game itself.
It's definitely *not* a game for everyone, but for those within the niche, it is an absolutely gem (and a free one!)

Hopefully this does not go the way of Hell Let Loose.

Play as the dollar store Belmont family, leisurely strolling through a grassy graveyard as thousands of nasty creatures attempt to steal your blood. Fantastic roguelite with many paths of progression, and fun enough in early access to keep me hooked.

In all seriousness this game is great. Highly recommend for fans of the bullethell genre and/or those with limited mobility (can be played entirely with the mouse or 4-5 keys).

This game is different.
Different good, yes. I can't say it's for everyone though. If you're a roguelike fan and you like card games, then this is for you. But bear in mind that it breaks a lot of the common concepts and rules that you may expect from a card-game. This is truly an experience to go into blind, and I highly recommend it. Can be completed over a weekend.
I am being deliberately vague as to not spoil anything. Don't watch the trailers. Don't read spoilers. Don't even read reviews. Have you stopped reading?

With the addition of kaycee, the first part is now a true roguelike mode - which is awesome. Added plenty of replayability going forward and nice to see the devs working hard post-release.

Go buy it.
