game runs like ♥♥♥♥, extremely poorly optimised. getting 45 fps on low with a high end gpu/cpu
spent 1.2 hours fiddling with settings both in-game (ineffective) and a lot of external settings to try and force the game to run better using nvidia tools. by the time i got it running close enough to 60 fps i was already over it and didn't even want to play the game

Perfect second monitor game, I keep finding myself coming back every few months to the point that the music is now sort of nostalgic
100% worth the buy

I REALLY wanted to like this game. Severe performance issues aside (thanks Denuvo, UE4, Krafton) the themes and atmosphere behind all that is cool, it just has this extremely sterilised "AAA" feel to it.

There's constant giant tutorial messages on the screen telling you what buttons do and how to play even 4 hours in, I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to get immersed or enjoy the story/gameplay like that.

The game constantly wrenches control away from the player with the camera getting locked every time you swing your weapon so you get blindsided by instant kill traps, not being able to dodge when you actually want to (to dodge instant kill traps or ranged attacks) because you're only allowed to dodge when the game thinks you want to through enemy melee attacks.

It's got the classic AAA game treating the player like a drooling moron that needs to be handheld through everything and wants to play the game for them.

Again I REALLY want to like this game but I just can't. They took a great core concept and just drove it into the floor through ultra accessability.

Whether it was the devs trying to push AAA or the publisher hamfisting their own ideas into the game with Denuvo etc. I'll never know. But it ruined the whole thing for me and it seems like everyone else as well. Congratulations

Quadruple A price for a faulty product that doesn't even launch - tried everything possible so I'm just refunding and buying like 4 good games instead
