*Spoilers*

Virgil still hasn't paid his child support
and continues to invest in Genshin Impact.
Says he needs more power or something rather.

So, you play as an older Dante who wants to punch his brother, Virgil.
Unknowingly, this is set up at the behest of a mysterious emo and Morrison—Dante's agent,
While he, Trish, and Lady hangout at 'Devil May Cry'.
The emo is paying upfront for Dante to defeat a demon.
Dante needs to take this job to keep his business open,
flush the toilets,
and skip a birthday party.
I'd also muse that he needs needs new clothes.
Clothes aside, he be looking extra handsome this time.
The demon he needs to defeat is big and seated, he's 'your reason'.

Dante, Trish, and Lady encounter the large seated demon,
but Dante would rather sleep for a month after a little tenticle punch,
and the fate's of the women go unknown.

Resultingly, Nero and his roommate, Nico, have to clean up the city and rescue Dante.
The business 'Devil May Cry' has a new branch,
and Nero is incharge of that extension.
They operate out of a van driven by Nico who can kick-flip that thing off of walls.
It's amazing,
she's amazing,
but she will laugh at you for crying, though.

Anyway, Nico manifactures bespoke robotic arms, 'Devil Arms', for Nero, because
some bum ripped his demonic arm off.
With his new arms and motorbike sword in hand,
Nero weeds a plant,
parries a hung demon's fireball,
gets called a deadweight,
and learns that emo isn't dead.
—We get to play as said emo, who introduces himself as V—
He's alright. I like him. He beats a horse dead.

Furthermore, Nero skins a feminine booby demon,
discovering Lady inside, naked, revealing her breats.
Nico will mock you for this.
Soon after, Nero and V will destroy a nude chicken.
She's kinda gross.
There's a lot of nude women in this game,
and Dante doesn't even get to rock it shirtless this time.

So,
Dante wakes up
and fights not-Nelo Angelo—is actually Trish,
the ridder of the demon horse V killed earlier.
She falls out naked too.
V catches up, just as Dante rushes away, and has a conversation with not-Dante's-mom to recover energy.
He expresses his life story and has a cry.
It's okay to feel emotions.
However, he's projecting,
and Trish says "I'm not your mom".

Dante takes a walk down memory lane,
remembering mom,
and summoning the power of dad.
Soon after, he fights some classic demons for old-times sake,
King puppy
and the OG trio, minus a big spider.

Dante, with his new power confronts and defeats the seated demon, unofficially titled 'Urizen',
saving Nero for real.
The seated demon now stands and attempts to prod Dante with his tenticles, again.
He fails and is defeated by Dante.
So he sheds the extra limbs and eats a fruit, gaining more power.
Dante still wins.

Nero, Dante, and V stand over the exhausted Demon,
when V suggests that he execute the demon himself,
but merges with it instead,
revealing that it was Virgil all along.

Your reason, V, Urizen, Virgil... get it.

What a silly guy.
He's cool, though. Trust.
Virgil demands Dante to get swoll for their next encounter and then leaves.

Nero is mad because he recognises Virgil and wants to beat him for taking his arm,
but Dante tells Nero to stay out of it.
However, Nero has been brewing on Dante's words.
"Dead weight".
It really upset him,
but Dante hasn't got time. He snaps at Nero,
"He's your father!"
Nero doesn't move, shocked, while Dante persues Virgil.

Dante, having done nothing to get strong, confronts Virgil above the sky,
who is contemplating from a plastic chair positioned dominion over the city.
He calls Dante foolish and then they fight.

Nero gets off the phone to Kyrie, now highly motivated,
and unleashes unprecedented power by screaming "Kyrie!",
stripping off 'Sweet Surrender' as his demon arm miraculously regrows in it's place.
Kyrie won't mind the loss, though.
Nero is a good boy and is loyal to Kyrie.
He makes a conscious effort regarding his life choices and mental issues,
and that despite the shortcomings he brings to the relationship, Kyrie will always be there for him.
*Devs, please give Kyrie a personality.*

Anyway,

Nero stops dad and uncle's fighting.

But,

because this renunion is so boring, Dante falls alseep once more.
So, Nero and Virgil have it out over some bonding time.
Virgil is bested by his son, so he leaves... again.
His final words are,
"Get strong Nero."
and
"Btw, here's my diary, but don't read the pages marked red. I was young and foolish."

Dante also taps out,
leaving Lady and Trish to pay the bills.
Virgil and Dante pretend like they have demons to fight but actually just want to shirk their responsibilities and fight each other.

Back in the van,
Nico says to Nero that it's okay to cry...
he's obviously been through a lot,
then proceeds to laugh at him for nearly giving in.
He'll likely save those tears for when he's in Kyrie's arms.
*Plz Capcom. Can Kyrie be more than just Nero's GF*

Overall, i'm still unsure if Virgil has paid his child support.
But nevermind,
the whole ordeal is berry delight.
