Well, comrade, sixty filthy American dollars as colleteral to this mission-was very doubtful at first, possibility of another capitalist scheme quite probable- but it turns out it is truly worth every cent our people so hardly worked for.

A bit tad expensive tbh...but has lots of potentials and offers exquisite gameplay experience,
with very detailed maps and historical accuracy even just in vanila 8.5/10

+plus it allows you to build your own inbred kingdom lol

Storyline is well-written.
Aesthetics are just magnificent.
Historical accuracy is near-perfect.

The only thing I found lacking was the ending. It was suitable for a game of this genre, a happy-and-sad ending, and resemblance to the ending of Stanley Kubrick's 1957 film 'Paths of Glory', another masterpiece about WWI, was a pleasant surprise.
However, it failed to capture the full horror and tragedy of the war, where most of the people were not as lucky as the characters of this game. I was happy for them, but the build-up of madness and fear just disappeared with a shortcut scene.

But, overall, a great game about the Great War. You'll still be able to experience at a personal level.

After 100 hrs on C:S, I couldn't help but realize that

Weapon configuration was one of the best of the series.
V2 had better storyline.

My recommendation: Buy it during sales.
