Rokk my friend, you were so wrong about this game.

Inscryption may be my favorite game in the past couple years. As a lot of the reviews say, just play the game blind. Go.

After the cabin you have a change to a 2D game, I initially did not like this but I cared enough about the story to continue on. And I'm so glad I did. I put in 8 hours straight one day because I was so into the game, it becomes oddly emotional near the end, and I found myself literally talking out-loud thanking the characters for their games. This is not an exaggeration. Never has ANYTHING made me feel so attached to characters, yet this silly little card game out of all things resonated with my core.

All in all: 10/10 game
P.S. Developer
Please create an online version of the game, it would be so fun to play against friends, and, thank you for creating this masterpiece.

It's understandable the arg part isn't for everyone, but it is a very Daniel Mullens thing to include in his games. I personally enjoy that story a lot, especially after playing the hex as well. There's also a large amount of mods on thunderstore if you're interested

After playing through it again and having a go with Kaycee's Mod, I must say that I was wrong in my original review. I still think the ARG is a bit cringe and the final payoff video would be better served as a post-credits stinger, but overall the game is a very fun experience. And now that Act 1 has turned into its own thing, I would say it's worth the money.
