NEVER FORGET THE ILLEGAL STUNT SONY TRIED ON 03/05/2024.
The game is great fun with a group and even still fun with random players, the community is generally amazing. The launch was a bit ruff and the developers are still finding their feet with such a successful game but a doing decently well. HOWEVER never forget that SONY is involved and after what they tried to pulled May 3rd I would be cautious in getting the game especially if you are in one of the over 100 countries SONY doesn't consider worth having the PSN in.

Every update breaks a bunch of game stuff and bugs still exist from the initial release. It sad to see a game that had so much potential and fun just become a hollow shadow.

Another patch with another round of nerfs to fun, hidden changes and game breaking bugs unfixed. Really regretting the time and money spent on this now.

After several patches and continued updates I can now recommend this game again as the developers seem to have finally figured out how to get things running. Although with Sony still looming in the background things may change if Sony decides to pull another fast one

Thank you for adding after the fact DRM that stopped the game working for me.

Not allowing dedicated servers and forcing you to hire them is pretty lame.

In its current state, new world is not worth playing. If Amazon decide to address the numerous exploiting, botting, cheating and abusing players/issues then it may be a game worth playing but given the current attitude of the Amazon staff it seems unlikely as they constantly ignore cheating and abusive behaviour and any attempts made to fix systems lead to more and worse bugs/exploits or issues. At this time I would avoid this game and play something that is more finished and properly moderated by staff that care.

A multiplayer game with a clunky and unbalanced multiplayer and forced use of uplay. Uplay servers fail way to frequently to be depended on for any kind of meaning full game play and then penalizes you for disconecting from a match
