Dune: Awakening delivers a rich, immersive experience that captures the harsh beauty and mystique of Arrakis. The atmosphere is its standout feature. Whether you're traversing the map on foot, riding a sandbike, or piloting an ornithopter, the game draws you in with impressive environmental detail and world-building.

Combat strikes a great balance between accessibility and depth. It’s easy to pick up but offers enough variety to support a wide range of playstyles, whether you prefer direct engagements, mid-range, or long-range tactics. It feels fluid and responsive, making encounters consistently enjoyable.

Progression through item crafting and discovery is one of the more satisfying aspects of the game. Uncovering new materials and recipes keeps things fresh, although the pace can sometimes feel slow. Resource grinding, in particular, suffers from tight inventory constraints. Without a clear goal, it’s easy to end up juggling or discarding potentially valuable items—an issue that can become frustrating during longer play sessions.

Despite a few pacing quirks, Dune: Awakening offers a compelling survival MMO experience with strong foundations in atmosphere, combat, and crafting. With some refinements to inventory and resource flow, it has the potential to become something truly special.

Fun city-builder with a number of improvements over the first game. Some tweaks/performance improvements will make it amazing. Looking forward to modding support!
