Early Access Review
Good value for the money. I got the hang of the core gameplay loop but have not discovered all current content and as it's an early access game there will probably be a stream of updates and additional content.

Concept is great, videos show lots of fun and fighting... yet in reality this game is boring because most people just stand around, walk around, hide behind walls or talk...

Bought the game for 0,99€. Certainly worth its money. Even if you only spend an hour on the game it's good value. The game offers good entertainment for a few hours at least.

Humorous approach to football, explosions, sabotage, ... fun :)

Japan - Germany : 72 - 16 Good game! Silly laughs guaranteed.

Not a continuation of the great series
At the current point in time I do not recommend this game for varios reasons.

A) The game involves extreme grinding. There are a dozen crafting materials and getting traps requires a significant amount of grinding. Unlike the previous games, one can not simply pick a trap one likes and upgrade it over time to maximize its performance. One has to farm the particular crafting items over and over again using the same 5 simple and annoying traps to finally be able to craft this trap in the first place.

B) There is little variation in the players' loadout because it takes ages to unlock a single new trap. Whereas it was possible to reset the loadout in previous games it is not possible any longer. Thus, one has to spend additional time in the game doing the exact same thing with the exact same traps to achieve a marginal level of trap variation.

C) The free-to-play business model is frustrating. I'd rather pay money for the game to have an even battlefield in multiplayer. Currently people paying for the game have a significant advantage as they can skip a significant part of the grinding process and easily destroy people who spend an equal amount of time on the game simply because they were able to afford better items at lower levels (e.g. items granting brief invincibility).

All-in-all, while Robot did a lot of work to improve the game and to re-invent parts of it by adding a MOBA style multiplayer mode - I feel that there is little appeal to OMD players. The game feels like it is designed for a new customer group such as SMITE players and did not fulfill my expectations.
