The devs are completely detached from their player base and only see the short-term profit by pushing you towards premium content. Nerfing free aircraft into the ground and increasing their spawn/repair cost is only part of it.

On top of that, sim game modes are an afterthought at best and plagued by afk-farmers and ridiculous arcade mechanics.

They don't see the literal gold mine there could be by catering to sim players.

Balancing is laughable.
Units randomly stop their assigned tasks or get lost on movement commands.

Development time for core features of an online RTS (ranked, map preference etc.) and game-breaking bugs (fixing Abbasid techs, resource dupes, relic teleportation etc.) is inexcusable.

The game looks fancy though and the single player campaigns are fleshed out.

An entirely new take on the roguelike idea, with elements of world building, deckbuilding and a progressive difficulty curve.

Worthy successor to CK2 with all major DLCs installed.
As the base game.

That says it all.

Many quality of life changes and performance/networking improvements over AoE II.

Scratch that.
The developers introduced an artificial fps lock in order to reduce power usage and GPU/CPU cycles on lower end devices.
Sadly, they screwed up and did not lock the refresh rate to the currently selected refresh rate of the monitor. Presumably, they locked it to the native refresh rate or just a set value.

Anyways, I cannot see any good reason to force this issue on all devices regardless of performance and no option ingame or otherwise solves it.
Going back to 60 fps is no option and until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend the game.

Extremely difficult, yet beautiful and rewarding roguelike platformer.
Great example of good game design and a worthy successor to Spelunky HD.

Don't expect to win runs during your first hours. You'll need to embrace dying over and over again to learn all the threats Spelunky 2 throws at you.

Extra points for the dynamic music system and a great OST.

The gameplay itself is fine, but the laggy environment combined with the rampant cheater situation make for a bad game.

Both points can (and hopefully will be) addressed, but until that's the case, I cannot recommend Fall Guys.

Early Access Review
Great combination of global view strategy, settlement building and hand-to-hand combat
The best of Europa Universalis, Civilization and Mordhau combined.

Be aware that this is a demanding game in terms of performance requirements and crashes/corrupted save games are to be expected during early access.

Furthermore, certain parts of the game are not yet balanced properly, but seeing how diligently and regularly the game receives new patches, it will improve over time.

If you like the above games and others of the general genre, you will enjoy MB 2 Bannerlord.
