Fantastic addition to the genre and spin-off of one of the best games on the market right now. It starts a little slow and difficult, but as you unlock options and overclocks, your dwarf becomes stronger, better, faster! Give it time and you'll be mowing down swarms with righteous dwarven fury. Rock and stone!

Democracy doesn't sleep.

Sooner or later, people will realize that you don't need to have a beautiful skin on your FPS game character to enjoy what is otherwise a great game.

Cannot recommend this game enough. Frequent updates, cool mechanics, and it's the kind of game you can let run idle during a work day while your beavers undertake massive engineering projects (as long as you make sure they're producing enough food and water).

It's an alright game

Unlike the other folks here who apparently spent about 10 minutes staring at the game and probably wanted it to fail from the outset and didn't check on settings, or didn't figure out the (admittedly poorly designed) click-and-hold technique in the menus, I managed to change a couple of settings and I am capable of running this game at a smooth 60 FPS (with minor hitches when entering a planet's atmosphere).

But this isn't what you want to hear. You want to hear about how "that guy didn't see that other guy" or the "god king totalbiscuit couldn't figure out the menus and the game ran like crap."

If you're reading this, spend more than 10 minutes playing, tweak the settings appropriately, and enjoy a decent game about space exploration. That's what this is.

Haters are dragging this game's reviews down. I bought it, I'm playing it and I enjoy it. It's different, and a fresh break from the norm.

I usually don't review stuff. I usually purchase Early Access games and immediately regret the decision. But this one is different. I knew it was different when I wasn't greeted with a Unity launcher, for one. Two, the aesthetic and functionality of the UI is pretty solid, though the camera control is a little funky. Three, the basic gameplay is already there. The basic parts are all there. It's a virtually feature-complete game that's just begging for more parts and scenarios, and I have a lot o confidence that it'll get them.

It didn't take me long to finish the scenarios present in this build, but I enjoyed it immensely. I did some really stupid things to conquer my foes at times, and I don't regret a thing. If it works, it works, no matter how stupid the idea was. So far, the content is pretty minimal, but I'm already looking forward to trying out new tactics and designs. Keep an eye on this one.
