2017; I love this game way more than I thought I would. Yes it's basically minecraft, but the graphics aren't the only thing that's different. All the crafting and gameplay is more realistic and in-depth, without being difficult to learn. I haven't had to use a wiki at all, and I'm having a lot of fun figuring things out and exploring the different biomes. I can't wait for them to add more content and fix some of the awkward alpha stuff, this game is gonna be so good!

2022 update; this game hasn't changed much since i first got it and fell in love with it, but it has been being worked on all this time by its singular (very devoted) developer, and is about to get a major update moving the game over to an entirely new engine with better graphics and even more in-depth building. other devs would just give up on the game and move out of early access when it wasn't ready so they could then make the same thing in a new engine as a sequel, but not this guy! we get the new version of the game for free, and the old version will still be playable in a beta branch as well! definitely a labor of love.

2025; even tho it's still in early access and a lot of features had to be put on hold to prioritize the engine switch, i'm already having a ton of fun exploring, crafting, hunting, and building with my friends. i'm eager for this game to grow and more features to be added, but frankly it is well worth the price already, and anybody complaining about it 'still' being in early access has no idea what they are talking about. the dev actively communicates with players regularly, there have been multiple updates a year this entire time, and the game is completely playable and easy to have tons of fun in already. there's just more the dev wants to do with it. that's all.
