MH, what else?

Great if you have gun knowledge and know how to CQB and clear rooms, otherwise the realism might deter you. Awesome if you are part of the law enforcement sector. Some guns have sus parts attached which I have no idea why.

Very funny and fun game to play with your friends. You will just keep dying ALOT and its meant to be as absurd and random as possible. Dont get too hung up on the failures because its hilarious.

More scary than Phasmo

Some bugs and inconsistencies but generally a hilarious game to play with friends, especially on a rainy night 😂

Review update as of 15th Oct 2024:

A recent patch made a lot of stratagems more usable and many weapons worth picking up. There is still more to come, but the game is more playable and less hardcore (still, the game reminds you time to time not to underestimate it lol)

We are finally getting the Super Earth Providential Funds for weapon funding, our firepower is back (mostly).

Review before 17th Sept 2024:

Very good UI and mechanics, kind of remind me of long mission times like monster hunter, plus the EDF series.

I marking it down in the review not because I dont like HD2, but the devs have horrible sense of "balancing" weapons and game design (maybe even progression direction internally in their team).

But the classic "we are listening" but not doing anything is just kind of false advertisement to the entire playerbase. Many games suffer from the overwhelming nerfing called "balancing" by the devs. Why not just make every single weapon strong, while having unique attributes of their own. That way you can have fun with any weapon, with preference being the differential determinant

P.S if u wan the Japanese version of "shoot random monsters and insects" try EDF lol

If you like to play loot shooters with friends, yea. And its Borderlands, if you dont care about game mechanics and issues then really, it has no flaws. But perhaps the story isnt that engaging.
