Foxholes goes from strength to strength in this player driven economy, building range and general salt. Would recommend, has a steep learning curve though.

Dont release a game as "early access" with the basic like server structure working and tested, its not like this is a new innovation!

5 hours in and I've been beaten by hunger, weather and now my own people. 11/10 thus far.

This brought back some many great memories on RPG's back in the days of baulders gate. So deep, great story, brillant characters. A plethora of ways to complete quests, love it.

Ok so I have openned it up tweaked a few settings like sound as its way to loud, check if i can set windowed mode - its naturally set to that without an option to change.

Connecting to server

First attempt - Funcom hosted server - Loaded to half a mountain and no land loaded - wait 2 mins and alt F4'd
Second attempt - Random RP server - Loaded to half a mountain and no land loaded - wait a minute and no character creation has appeared

Character Creation
Its important to note I played with that ♥♥♥♥ bar pretty hard. I now feel real manly.
Nice tweaking bar, hope for more options in the future.

Funcom hosted server, terrible rubber banding
Not Funcom seem to be more stable.

AI is a bit broken but im sure they will fix that quickly enough.

EDIT: I have not racked up 27 hours. My review remains unchanged, there are of course issues but they are new ones with each patch which are coming at us like a machine gun. Great work there FUNCOM.

The Crafting system is deeep, i just want more aestical things :)

Amazing, breaktaking, spacey cant ask for more buttons to be honest.

A couple of done points before I hit the positives.

1) Why has the confederacy been removed, what is I want to create a united faction, that was a cool feature.
2) A few little diplomacy tweaks could be made to refine the interaction with the AI.
3) through is some better Unit models please all a bit same ol same ol.


Positives
1) Battles are fun
2) Campaign map is cleaner than say Rome, Medievel etc (as it should be)
3) You arent out the game if you lose your last town merely a nomadic faction so go kick someone out of there town and rebuild.

Overall 8/10

Similar is graphical quality to Counter Strike Source, however based in WWII, with a variety of maps to choice, you pick you side, Americans or Weirmacht, arms you self from several class, Riflesman ft rifle grenades to the the assault class, support class, sniper and Rocket.

Must buy for instant drop in fun!

I have played CSS since release, it is one of the best games in the FPS genre. It is simple yet entertaining. Taking on the counter terrorist or play as the Terrorist. Earn you cash and buy your guns, hostages need rescuing, bombs need planting.

I have just finished Closed Beta 2 and this MMO RPG is setting a new bar, sandbox building, lengthy crafting, action combat all make this game worthwhile, something WOW has been missing, ESO failed to deliever and the MMO RPG genre has not quite yet acheived.
