IT'S GOOD!!

Tragically over-simplistic combat. I don't hate the game's crackhead pace and energy, but it's basically just dumdum JRPG combat where you match the type weaknesses and defend when they say they're going to oneshot you. Very vapid.

Conceptually I like the game but holy ♥♥♥♥ for the love of god add !!MOUSE SUPPORT!! (and make text boxes display instantly instead of annoyingly fading in for 0.2 seconds every single text box)

HiRez scammed me and didn't give me my Divine Legacy gems (essentially ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coupons, which itself a false advertising scam)

Don't spend any money on this, the company has laid off over half it's staff and is barely cruising to make release just so they can milk the f2p crowd before bankruptcy

The odds-defying quality on display here makes me strangely grateful of the entitled Reddit hate mob- if they hold GGG to such a standard, that they are driven to release something as unbelievably good as PoE 2 Early Access

THIS GAME SLAPS
Hidden gem JRPG, worth full price

Incredible style, love the presentation and snappy gameplay.

Kind of traditional and simplistic-- in particular I wish that the power level/complexity of decks rose more dramatically throughout the Fables story mode. I want to feel like I'm doing something busted, overpowered, or exciting. I think Dungeon Drafters was REALLY!!! superior in this regard.

Great art style but was pitched to me as "ARPG Dark Souls", which sounds like an incredible genre blend. But it's really more like "Dark Souls but top down" and doesn't add much of anything. If you needed a 29th Dark Souls game, here it is I guess.

Slay the Spire play-till-4-AM addictive but all the cards have grinning, taunting, mocking clown faces on them so the sleep deprivation nightmares are extra spicy
