A good, lighter Monster Hunter with QoL where it counts. Not something that you absolutely need to play before you die but a fun romp. Will be tremendous value on a sale but fair even at full price.

It has graphics, and it exists.

Such an ingenious concept. They've executed it incredibly here, to the point that I will feel bitter when it's inevitably re-done and re-copied by a larger developer and takes the world by storm.

Incredible game. As someone who always wanted to get into Dofus or Wakfu, this is their first game that actually delivers. It feels like they have learned a lot about their game design over the years and this is the culmination of that. 25 different classes, each with their own extremely distinct playstyle and huge upgrade trees, all with their own sprites and animations and 5 different card pools.

The PvE is very fun but simple enough to farm, and shockingly the PvP has no pay2win elements at all. You just have to unlock it after doing the first island's quests.

Overall a great game, unlikely to become abandonware because Dofus and Wakfu are still getting updates to this day. Maybe you haven't heard of these games in North America but they're a major IP in other parts of the world and so this is a big release. Definitely get in on it.

If you like building team comps, you will enjoy this game

Probably one of the most professional and fully-realized attempts at anything MOBA-like in over five years.

A more Battlefield-y Call of Duty, a little more tactical with more mid-sized maps than usual. I really enjoy this direction and the good maps feel like a perfect balance between classic Blops laser tag and mounting on a car to lay down some depressing fire. Could use more content but in terms of fundamentals this feels like the most solid and well-rounded CoD, maybe ever.

*NOT* a fan of the hidden microtransaction bundles that only unlock as you progress through each ranked division. Wanted to support the game by buying some packs, only to find out every time I made progress, a better deal was offered to me.

Feeling like a real sucker for supporting your game by buying a couple of packs only to find out better deals are hidden at first to make sure you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over before you can make an informed purchase. Very unfriendly stuff that doesn't tempt non-spenders but just ♥♥♥♥♥ over your fans who made the mistake of... supporting you too early?
