This is not only GOTY 2025 (GTA6 be damned), but I think it's also game of the decade 2020's. This game plays as an endless series of puzzles, each more intricate and probing deeper into the mysteries of this mansion than the last. Every detail of every room is intentionally designed and every piece of this mansion is necessary to solve the ultimate puzzle of Blue Prince. Write everything down. Take note of every sight, every event. Don't forget to look up.

One of the single greatest games ever created. Every morning I awaken, I pray that Lucas Pope decides to make another game in the same vein as this.

While the game is quite enjoyable, I found two problems with it. First, the first 1/3 of the game has a significantly better theme/story than the remaining 2/3 of the game. It's regrettable that they didn't just expand upon the first chunk of the game, flesh it out more, create some replay-ability. The second issue is the final act of the game- the game set itself up (and presented itself) as a world that had multiple endings, thus tempting the player into playing the game again. However, this isn't the case- the game exists strictly on a linear path. It could have been incredible if each playthrough caused a different end to the game.

I am a game hoarder. I like to buy lots of games, and then whether or not I like them, hold onto them. This makes steam awesome- don't care whether or not I can sell games back, and the games don't take up any physical space. win-win.

I really want to sell back Grotesque tactics. This game is lacking a lot of polish. Controls are clunky, animation is slow and agonizing, and the plot line is weak at best.

Do not buy this game; waste of time and money.
