Pros:
-Very pretty game
-Some creative mechanics that build off DS1

Cons:
-Very sharp hills and valleys in difficulty
-Many game mechanics are simply not explained to the player and it's very hard to find out what some items actually do without looking on a wiki.
-Uninspired boss design
-Many areas are boring, useless, unbalanced, empty especially towards the end of the game.
-One of the lamest final bosses I have ever seen, leaving a very bad lasting impression
-Why do you have to travel to Majula to level up your character when you can travel to any bonfire from the start of the game? It doesn't make any sense and adds extra loading screens to the experience.

I don't recommend playing this game unless you have played a Dark Souls game before. The game starts off pretty well, but DS1 Remastered is just all around a better game. Hopefully DS3 will get the awful taste out of my mouth because I can't believe how lame the final boss of this game was.
