Amazingly well executed concept. If you find it too hard, just run necromancer and dump literally all of your points into Skeleton, the self-sacrifice ability to regen mana, & look for Heal Books/Staves. You can loop the latter two infinitely for a net-positive mana/health gain

Transcendent game. Able to touch deep into core issues facing humanity as a whole & down to the individual level as well, all while through the medium of one of the most unconventional, yet meticulously crafted, gameplay systems ever designed.

Pretty fun. Finding it quite hard to beat the final dungeon of the first character campaign but I'm also not trying very hard.

Edit: JK, cleared it on my next run cause I finally read that you retain set bonuses after upgrading units

This game is great. Never heard of it when it was originally released, I'm glad this came across my Steam Feed. More Dungeon Crawling!!!

Positives: Classic Mystery Dungeon gameplay with great writing. Asynchronous Rescue mechanic works great for letting you continue your progress and interacting with others while giving you an excuse to put the game down and come back later.

Negative: No Partner AI controls means a lot of frustration/inefficiency for savvy dungeoneers.

This game is pretty good. The scaling process is masterfully done, and it's decently funny. Just when you think you've got the game figured out you learn some minor new way to keep becoming more efficient. I'm about 40% of the way through, curious to see how the game holds up into the 'final' dimensions
