It is the 41st millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the emperor Gaben has sat immobile on the golden throne of Valve. He is the master of pc gaming by the will of the gods, and master of a million transactions per minute by the might of his inexhaustible Steam catalog. He is a rotting carcass, writhing invisibly with power from the golden age of gaming. He is the carrion lord of the PC Master Race for whom a thousand gamers and wallets are sacrificed every second so that pc gaming may never truly die.
