Piles of enemies in poorly designed tunnels will have you smashing that quickload button with a hammer like it's a copy of the latest Taylor Swift but for every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moment there's ten that'll make you denounce your beloved Metal Gear and proclaim THIS as the greatest stealth game ever made. Worth a million replays. With 2 fantastic sequels AND an ever-expanding community-made universe in DarkMod do yourself a favour and get acquainted with the world of Thief today.

Don't play the 4th one tho

I finished BioShock series coupla weeks ago, fell in love with Ken Levine, wanted to know his other works, and jumped into this. not to say it's bad; it's actually a decent stealth game with strong details to gameplay; but buddy, it didn't show any cutscenes, didn't open no intro or even credits. though gameplay was smooth all the way through, it was hard to finish the first mission. even on Normal difficulty. (my experience at least)

To be fair, the game overall is a decent touch to computer nerds who set up their great gamer computers ready for it, maybe you'll solve those issues with cutscenes etc; but if you're an average dude with a habbit of playing old games, be ready for a bit of disappointment. this game is sorta good, but by this era's standards, {technically) it sorta hasn't aged well. But overall the first experience was worth it
